  • I love how it says equilibrium in the name but doesnt in any way say what is going on? what the other species the Cu(II)Cl is in equilibrium with. or the mechanism of the reaction.

  • i think this is le chatelier's principle!

  • please I need 2 know!!!!

  • what is the complex that forms when the solution change to green?????

  • @marm0onse @marm0onse according to wikipedia (copper (II) chloride), the yellow complex is CuCl4 2- which forms in an abundance of Cl- ions. The yellow and blue in solution together would result in green. I'm not sure why there is no evidence for the red CuCl3 1- unless it is a very unstable reaction intermediate that is short lived in both forward and reverse reactions.

  • Copper compounds are so great!!!

  • @metalheadrowi i love copper compounds! :D copper chemistry is coool! :D

  • Very nice! xD i have the same bottles from Simax :P Glass from Czech Republic rulezz !
