Yes, but pole positions don't win races. Race pace does. Schumacher had it as did Prost. Kimi has 10 fastest laps this year,which is a record equal to his own from 2005 and Schumacher's from 2004.
Anybody that bangs in loads of fastest laps on any racetrack is seriously fast in the race. Senna was a better qualifier than Prost, but in the races Prost often conserved his tires better and outsmarted Senna. Prost would have been champion both in 1988 and 1989 had all points counted like today.

My hands are trabling, it is 30th lap of the race in Singapore and I stopped watching the race. I am fan of Massa, but I will not watch the rest of the season.
I have feeling that who ever is in charge of that release light is working for McLaren. Ferrari should investigate its mechanics, I have strong feeling they are conspiring against Masas and Ferrari. FUCK THEM.
If Masas doesn't become champion it is Ferrari's foult, Massa IS CHAMPION IN MY EYES, he is the best.

are you kidding me???? we're talking about a v10 with 1000+ Hp back in 2005 compared with a v8 800hp car now days... Kimi has been outqualified almost every race by his team mate and Lewis - Which race did he lapped everyone like the old days and won the race or has anyone on the pit lane for that matter??? Very simple - POWER. you mess up in qualifying youre fucked. F1 cars are absolute equal in every aspect and the drivers are all equally talented.

I think Fernando is the best of them all because he thinks as a champion BUT Felipe is without a doubt the fastest man of F1 today and Im not saying that just look at the numbers - If a race was decided upon just one qualifying lap Felipe is your guy. Hamilton has by far the best car in hand for the second year but I think Massa has more experience therefore Im betting on him. Ps: Can you imagine Kubica drivin Hamiltons car with the support Hamilton has from Denis?????

Kimi would have won easily if the engine cover didn't come lose.Valencia 2008? Couldn't agree with you more. The guy has never impressed me and most people fail to remember how he got owned by Fisichella and Heidfeld during his Sauber days. Only the total superiority of the Ferrari has made him look better than he really is.
Silverstone 2008 indeed! He spun off 6 times and was dead last. At least Kimi was 4'th in the same care. And Spa was probably the WORST inherited win of all time. He was nowhere in the race and gets to win it. FUCK THAT!

Felipe Massa is another Damon Hill. Sure Damon Hill was good and a champion driver but he was no Schumacher or Hakkinen or Prost. Hill was also damn good when he was leading...otherwise he did little. Same goes for Massa.
His racecraft is poor and the superior Ferrari and Kimi's bad luck in a few races, like in Canada when Hamilton drove into him, and France when he was leading easily means all kinds of fools praise him.
Barrichello sometimes dominated when he was at Ferrari too, and now??

Massa is a great driver, the equal of kimi alonso and hamilton! last season he would have been fighting for the championship at brazil too but ferrari failed to give him a car that could finish most races... he has been s unlucky (just look to hungry where his engine blew 3 laps from him getting 10 points) but people will still say he deserves to have his win in Valencia stripped even tho it wasnt his fault? (his pit crew said go, what was he meant to do? this is racing!)

Yes, but pole positions don't win races. Race pace does. Schumacher had it as did Prost. Kimi has 10 fastest laps this year,which is a record equal to his own from 2005 and Schumacher's from 2004.
Anybody that bangs in loads of fastest laps on any racetrack is seriously fast in the race. Senna was a better qualifier than Prost, but in the races Prost often conserved his tires better and outsmarted Senna. Prost would have been champion both in 1988 and 1989 had all points counted like today.

Felipe is underated. In my opinion, he's the best driver on the 2008 grid, Kimi has just been terrible in these last few races.
Let's not forget, that he took the most poles, and fastest laps in 2007, when the top 4 cars (Ferraris, Mclarens) pretty even.

Massa is probably the worst driver in the new F1. It proves that he can not control the car without any electronic assistance. You don't see Alonso, Hamilton, Kovalinen, Button, Kubica, Heidfeld, Rosberg, even Nakajima manages to keep it pointing it in the right direction. Massa spun all on his own, what do Ferrari see in him?
