@geddoe316 - Better hear that than being deaf ! The Genesis version has better musics, better and more accurate gameplay and the graphics are, in my opinion, way cooler ! SNES version was dull.

You must've been high when you said that. Snes was FAR superior. The Genesis version has too many glitches that make the characters broken, the music is horrible, and sure the graphics are nice but they slowed the game sometime.

I remember my friend bringing me over to play this and I had been owning the shit out of the SNES version the entire weekend.

I figured I'd go over and show him a thing or two.

I got to his house and I saw this game was completey different than the SNES version and sure enough he played as Casey Jones.

(which I envied being playable in the GEN version)

Needless to say he whooped my ass with that cheap time bomb thing and his grab move... I was fairly disappointed. : (

a damn near impenetrable ant- air, a projectile reflect, and a bomb? It doesn't matter that the bomb can hit Casey as well (but he can make it not hurt him) because it makes his post knock-down strategies and ridiculous corner trap. Control space to control 2D fighting games.

This version of the game was weak. I remember playing it and thinking to myself "Man....the Super NES version totally blows this one out of the water." It was a good effort, some of the backgrounds look really cool, but the sound (and voice samples) are really sub par. Genesis just didn't have the hardware for clear, quality voice samples and music. BTW...who was the beetle? I don't EVER remember seeing that fool anywhere, but yet he's a playable character?

You're a smart person, everybody knows the SNES version is a godlike game in general, well in the fighting game community it is. It's considered one of the most hardcore non capcom, snk or atlus fighting games.

Casey...I found him just not aggresive enough but now I know he was the BEST defensive character in the game. Dropping the time bomb then doing the stick/lariet combo secures success, genereally lol v ^__^
