I saw Danielle in person where I work in Berkeley! I'm so glad that you guys did this interview and I agree with a lot of what Danielle said. I recently had a debate with my PARENTS about whether or not they have benefited from their white privilege. They too believe that to mean they should have received a tangible hand out of some kind. I couldn't change their mind--I might email my mom this video.
It's just great to see people speaking out about this frankly and with a sense of humor.
