my father used to play this song on his hi fi,maybe a 78 rpm. this song is probably the first song i remember hearing as a toddler. i am 58 years old. thanks cdbpdx.
This music can never be replace. This music makes you want to return to those good old days and never come back to these sad days that we are now living in.I can still remember all the words. Can't remember any of todays's tunes or the words because what is played today is garbage. How the world has changed.
"........once you have found him.........never let him go..........". Have loved to sing this when I am alone......( :.......Love its lyrics and melody. Thanks for posting this rare song by JoStafford.
Geez, what great music. As a kid, I never much cared for her. But in old age I've come to appreciate the musicianship of all those pre- R & R singers. Stafford was singularly excellent in pitch and phrasing. One of the great "girl singers" of the Big Band era.
Wonderful music. Beautiful voice. Jo recorded a pretty song along about 1956 called "It's Almost Tomorrow". Can you post that one please if you have it?
beautiful renition this song is from south pacific and nobody sings it better than the late great jo stafford R.I.P JO

Her voice has this warmth and fullness but is very sweet and true. Quality holds up over time. Thanks.
