  • beautiful renition this song is from south pacific and nobody sings it better than the late great jo stafford R.I.P JO

  • Great record. Where did you find it? Ebay?

  • my father used to play this song on his hi fi,maybe a 78 rpm. this song is probably the first song i remember hearing as a toddler. i am 58 years old. thanks cdbpdx.

    thanks to you tube.

  • Love love Jo Stafford's edition of the song she's got such a beautiful voice.

  • That is real class--- to play the actual record

  • This music can never be replace. This music makes you want to return to those good old days and never come back to these sad days that we are now living in.I can still remember all the words. Can't remember any of todays's tunes or the words because what is played today is garbage. How the world has changed.

  • Love her version. She sings like she is looking for this ageing romantic.

Great singer, great words, great music . Tops off a nice reminiscing night of past memories. Thanks for posting.

  • The orchestration is fantastic too!!!!

  • Unbelievable. What a voice.

  • I have heard many versions of this song. I like this one. the tempo is just right.

  • "........once you have found him.........never let him go..........". Have loved to sing this when I am alone......( :.......Love its lyrics and melody. Thanks for posting this rare song by JoStafford.

  • One of the classic oldie I love most.

  • Brings back memories of my high school days, and I loved Jo Stafford then...and still do! Thanks for sharing.

  • Geez, what great music. As a kid, I never much cared for her. But in old age I've come to appreciate the musicianship of all those pre- R & R singers. Stafford was singularly excellent in pitch and phrasing. One of the great "girl singers" of the Big Band era.

  • This is one version I love most. Thanks for having it shared.

  • Her voice has this warmth and fullness but is very sweet and true. Quality holds up over time. Thanks.

  • An excellent rendition---smooth, simple and perfect. Vintage Jo Stafford--thanks for posting.

  • Wonderful music. Beautiful voice. Jo recorded a pretty song along about 1956 called "It's Almost Tomorrow". Can you post that one please if you have it?

  • Superb singing and phrasing in an era when there was quality popular music

  • She was special. I miss her and this generation.

  • Me too. Thank goodness we lived when we did so as to enjoy that era.

  • Just wonderful. Do you have I'll know by Jo?
