Hah!! that poem by Rumi, i read it just the other day "Sheba's Hesitation", what a coincedence, i love the work of Rumi, i in fact have the Book, "A year with Rumi" where i read a poem every day :))

I liked the poem, but the music is reminding me of some french royal court o.O

I like this quick pace... I envision her on the way and the servants preparing for her arrival, like hanging garlands, arranging drapes, unrolling carpets, arranging everything that in the moment she enters the room it's all miraculously perfect...sort of like when you clean the house for an unexpected guest.

We're playing this in orchestra. I feel so bad for the violins cuz they have the melody! Thankfully I'm a viola and only have the melody for like two measures!

After my first child was born I had to drive home to pick up some things from home and this was the first piece of music which came on the car stereo.

The emotion of being a Dad for the 1st time and the music simply got to me and I had to pull over by the side of the road for a little cry. It still does the trick everytime I hear the piece.
