Yes. Once my friend had this HUGE crush on a guy. She was having trouble getting his number, so she asked me to write a note to him and slip it into his locker. I did what she wanted. A month later, she told me that they were dating now. The guy she was dating was the guy I was crushing on! It was terrible. I've learned to ask the guy's name before I do anything like that again.
