If by 'better' you mean what happens at ballroom competitions, you're right, but for showy TV ballroom performances it hardly gets better than this.

@ashlynswt I took your comment into consideration and I watched them again. I think that some aspects of pro dancing are far more better, for one thing the BIG TIME pros like M&J and stuff are far more technical and structured ( I know M&J are 2nd in world but still...). However based on performance I think they meet and even top most pros, they are very into each other and react off of one another, a lot of male dancers of blackpool are just a rock for the female to use, not much action react.

@ashlynswt They are nothing compared to dwts. TBH dwts is where the pros go if they didn't make it anywhere else.... I can only think of one decent pro dancer on dwts that has made the big time before and that is karina smirnoff. The rest really aren't THAT big in the ballroom world. I think these two are better.

Every partner he has either pro or not he treats with respect and care, he teaches and dances WITH them not at them and i have fallen more in love with him since he has been on strictly come dancing (UK) because of his nurturing with his celeb and how he is teaching her and how protective he is of her...its lovely to see they are a real partnership, he is amazing :-)

@joroy123 So true. I remember Nigel saying on SYTYCD that Pasha was the perfect dance partner, he always supports and shows off his partner as well as dancing brilliantly himself. I also remember when he had to dance with the training assistant because his actual partner was sick...and she wasn't as young or as nubile... but Pasha treated her the same and together they were as amazing. Any one would be lucky to dance with him.
