im a new zealander and i know a girl whos had several abortions. its just way to easy in nz to get one . im 22 i just had a daughter and its wonderful. my partner took the morning after pill it didn't work. Young people in nz and the world have to realise its not a bad thing to have a child at all its a miracle.
I agree prolifeinternational. However, what the Jeremiah Trust is doing here, is to set a goal, it is something to aspire to. You're right, we won't be able to find 18,000 homes ever year. BUT. If Christians really were prepared to stand up for the unborn, and to sacrifice their lives, their money, their lifestyle, I think we could get very very close to eradicating abortion - simply through the loving service of adoption.
Here in the UK and,as far as I know in the USA and many other Western countries (NZ too?),there is a constant shortage of newborn babies available for adoption.. The demand exceeds the supply.. Therefore I`m not sure how adoption will prevent abortions,as I`m unaware that women are opting to abort because they think it might be too difficult to find adoptive parents for their baby?
It`s an admirable idea but in reality I`m not sure that 18,000 homes could be found every year.. I`ve no doubt though that if abortion can be made illegal there will be a huge reduction in the number of "inconvenient" pregnancies.
PRO LIFE: Life is what happens to you while you are making other plans.
PRO CHOICE: If you are pro choice, then you are pro death.
Take a minute and think about it.
SAVE THE BABIES!!!
