Most of the time I use 10lb monofilament for the worms and 8lb for the small crankbaits. Anything less for the worms and I tend to break off, anything more for the crankbaits and they don't dive as deep or cast nearly as far.

That's crazy i went fishing once in my life South of Perth, AU and never did it again. I was 6 and when i watched my uncle pull out the fish from then on those fishes use to haunt me. I'm over now. I'm a big girl now ;)
