the ipod cord you buy it splits off into the USB and The earphone piece, do you have it plugged into both ports? i wanted to hook up the ipod cord for my iphone but also a aux cord incase I need to be using the phone... so what functions will work if just the USB part is plugged in?

Hey Ive got a 350z and I just ordered this one off eBay and I see you've been taking about a mounting kit?? I thought it comes with one? is it specific for the z? and also was this an easy install? thanks

you have to get the kit for the 350z. You will only be using the surrounding trim. The rest you can use from the factory radio. Its not too bad of an install just follow the online guides to find all the screws and what not. Also, don't forget to connect the power antenna

I dont have an ipod but i mean you just plug it in the radio before install and just run it through the center console pretty easy

Hey man, you need to get the wiring harness and also the mounting kit. All yo uneed is the frame around as you can see from the vid fro mthe mounting kit. I used the same thing that was holding my stock radio but i had the crap one not the bose...

Yes it works . I own 1 of these and you just need to plug the ipod and select video .

play and charges my 3rd gen ipod, And Play but dont charges. my Ipod touch.

well you will probably need awiring harness to fit your car, antenna adaptor depending on your car make and model and also a mounting kit so it fits in nice

I was wondering if its possible to put music videos on a dvd or ipod and have them play continously back to back or even shuffle them (and what file formats are best)... If anyone knows this answer that would be awesome! ~Dave

Where do you live? My friend works at a car stereo store and I can get a custom box for that area for a 10" or 12" sub super cheap. So if you are close by I could probably hook you up with one.

Putting in a custom box. The down side is since it's gotta be custom, and that area is so small, I'm gonna have to use a shallow woofer. It really shouldn't be an issue sound wise since the cabin is pretty small but I'll have to wait and see. The whole setup is gonna be around 550 with the amp, sub, box, and install so its not too bad.

Yeah I'm gonna get a sub and I'm putting where the Bose sub would be behind the driver's seat. The amp is gonna go under the tray in the glove compartment behind the passenger seat.

So your going to get a free air sub or build a custom box for that location? I read that free air subs are very weak and even if you seal that location that regular subs dont sound good. I saw a premade box but they want like 350 for it which is crazy! SO this is whats stopping me from geting a sub:(

Metra kit and just the trim the rest i used the factory bracket. are you planing on getting a subwoofer? and if yes where will you mount it?

Can the buttons on the bottom be changed to a different color? Can the screen be tilted for better viewing? Even while watching a movie, can the Rear Camera display over the movie when reversing? Does the screen have a bad glare while being looked at during the day?

yes buttons can be changed to many different custom colors. yes the screen can be tilted.i have not had any glare issues or needed to tilt the screen and the rear camera im not sure since i dont have one sorry

Hey got a question, are the aux inputs easy to locate? They don't look like they are on the face of the unit.

thats one downfall i guess because they are located in the back but then again if you run the cabling from the back rather than the front you can hide it better...

he means... does it play DVDs from all countries? Sometimes if you wanna play one from another country you have to change the region code, but you can only do that so many times on certain players..

the price was 9 hours of my life! :) Yes installed with my friend. But that includes amp 4 speakers and of course wiring.
