  • 4:08 ian curtis lives...

  • other than the original version from the Movement album. this is def one of my favorite recordings of I.C.B

you can def see and hear the ghost of joy division and the influence of Ian's frontman style in this performance. young New Order was so damn good.

  • guau! summer posessed by curtis!!

  • is it me or do the guitars sound like shit?

  • Stephen except drum kick/toms hi hat what is called this other 'thing' he's hiting & makes this tsf tsf noize?!

  • @greyagain simmonds twin channel drum synthesizer

  • @greyagain either some kind of snare thats been highly EQ'd or electronic drums

  • It's so good to have these videos, even if Gillian's guitar is too loud.

'Movement' was a cool album...."retrospective reviews for Movement have been very positive" says Wikipedia.

  • Line of force from heaven...

  • actually it's "manna falls from heaven".

  • @DJcaliban MUSHROOMS!!

  • On any lyrics website for this song, the opening lyrics are given as "Light that falls from Heaven", or "My love falls from heaven".

They're both wrong - it's actually "Manna falls from heaven".

This is a wonderful, dark album from the greatest band of their generation.

  • Excellent!

  • Magia!!!!!!zrozumie to ktos kto znalłto ....80!!!!!!

  • The last part of the lyrics are, I believe: Taken from the Killing ground By all-providing hands With no sense or reason They came, they found their ends I've fallen many times Too many times to deny This is why I linger here I've fallen here to die Also, perhaps the first line is: (A) Light that falls from Heaven
  • or (B) Mana falls from heaven :-\

  • I believe it is Gillian's guitar, not Barney's, which is too loud. The loud guitar continues when Barney holds the mic and starts singing.

  • Yes, I noticed that too, thanks for confirming :-)!

  • Gillian is the most underrated musician in history. No Gillian, no New Order.

  • @radialaxis

That´s definitely Gillian´s guitar. Look at 1:20. The sounds don´t match the hand movements...

  • Fucking Hell! I LOVE this version! The mix might not be perfect, but I couldn't care less about that! Brilliant, I say! BRILLIANT!!!

  • good god the mix in this is shocking guitar is way too loud compared to everything else shame cos the songs fantastic

  • I believe most "New Order" gigs have been somewhat chaotic. But on the other hand, apart from former frontman of "Bauhaus" Peter Murphy, they are the only band I know of who have taken requests from the audience !

  • to be honest it sounds better with headphones on....and you cant blame a band for the mix cos thats usually whoevers at the soundboards fault

  • ICB = Ian Curtis Buried.

  • The best perfomance of this song!!

Do you have those songs of the Glasgow DVD in Mp3 format?
