why the fuck can't people on youtube post videos with mp3 quality....i can search dire straits on youtube for hours an all i get is crappy live videos...watched them all and the quality is poor,and every time i type in any music composer or group all i get is guitar herro videos or a fat bloke on a guitar like i care what you can play,i want to hear real music...youtube has become a cheap internet portal where you can't get what it used to give...that's my opinion don't get me wrong

You should be happy this is here at all.

While I can understand your frustration for horrible live recordings where you can't even hear the music, just taking up your time sifting through, videos like these are pretty good, considering its source is probably a VHS from around 1990.

You're not really entitled to effortlessly get good mp3s for free, but that's what most have come to get used to. Anyway, try using strings with "-live" or "-mandela day" if you want to filter some of it out.

I cannot believe this is over 20 years old. My Dad had taped bits of the concert and I watched the Dire Straits section over and over. I probably haven't seen it for 19 years, but this is a powerfully emotional and beautiful performance, which I admit brought tears to my eyes tonight.
