Allthough i am just picking up one of my fall records like once a year now, the fall has a very very uniq tune/sound texture which is not camparable to any other group. And "Hit the North" is a very good example of this.

They are one of _the_ top 80's bands and did enlighten my late teenage years! Thaxn for that!

supported The Fall and McCulloch's Electrafixion at a festival in Rhennes years ago, Mark E drove his Jag there then kicked the rest of the band off the tour bus so he could get drunk in peace, they hung out backstage, nice people (Brix was a sweetheart) Electrafixion were arseholes too, demanding the backstage area be cleared before they would get off their bus^^ Mark E ruined his own gig by fucking about with his bands amps and drums. an ass but then he did write 'Dr Buck's Letter'
