flyff it takes more then patience and skills.. it takes endurance.. and a cunning intellect to make an strong, epic, very effective character.. and while yes every aspect of the game is free thats what attracts people to flyff... i mean really sure $6 a month for RS isnt much.. but $6 for to have like 5 new town and 6 new skills? wheres the common sense in that.. thats like switching to wow and paying a start up fee of $70 (cataclysm and 2 month server payment is $70) and quoting RS is boring

@Whiting1289 flyff has full screen? and on the right cpu runs perfectly. and the skills are much better. Also you don't need damn runes to use magic. And lets not forget that runescape sucks unless you have a membership, where as flyff is completely free. Anything you can buy in the cash shop can be bought from other players. FlyFF has alot better graphics I might add. And if you dont like the graphics, update your graphics card and it'll look great, and run faster. FlyFF wins.

Runescape one of the earlist mmorpg started 10 years ago and this is there 10th year of 2011 started in 2001 and was one of the best mmorpg with many and more 1million and more still continue playing.. runescape is based on skill and patients i have played atleast 4 years of runescape and it is well updated even though its a browser game. one of the best mmorpg and earlist i will remember in the good old days and dont forget Everquest and counter strike one of the few early that started first

I like RS for that it gives a fair f2p experience & has that medieval rpg feel. The ones who are saying RS graphics sucks really don't know anything about computer graphics. RS is really quite detailed with it's scenery & architect. FlyFF I never really played. Though I ain't a big fan of those cute little anime Korean games.

Flyff is more shiny and thus more likable by people. It has somewhat better community since teamplay is required to reduce grinding time. With time though flyff becomes another boring MMO. Skills are boring (50% of them are useless). Developers don't care much about balance . The only special thing about it is its good community. Now runescape has far better gameplay. It has strategy. High-level combat is much more interesting than flyff's. Also Jagex has started adding teamplay (Dungeoneering).

Flyff looks and plays exactly like Earth Eternal, Kitsu Saga, and I can only assume WOW. All 3 had horrible kinds of quests "Kill and collect item."

@iherduliekthem Graphic have changed and thats the only thing. If all people cared about was graphics then Final Fantasy 7 and other super low graphic games still wouldn't be known as the best. In it Runescape has changed practically nothing. It's still the slow moving, laggy servered, smack talking, no storyline, random cut and paste game with the most weak combat system I ever seen. I agree Kill Collects stink and graphics are kiddish, but still this game is better then Runescape.

HA! No way is Flyff better than Runescape overall! Flyff may have a better battle system, fly boards, and cooler equipment, but Runescape's sheer playability blows Flyff away! Runescape has a massive amount of things you can do aside from training and quests, while all you have in Flyff is flying and those two. Runescape's amount of monsters and items also blows away the flyff one, and the map is easily 20 times bigger! Runescape wins!

@Linkthamasta I disagree, Runescape was pretty fun... when I was in the sixth grade. The graphics, the monsters, and the battling system are pretty plain. I'll admit that I did get bored of Flyff faster than I did for Runescape but that's because training at level 70+ takes forever. Also, if you think the Runescape map is bigger, then you're terribly mistaken. It just seems bigger because you guys have to walk everywhere.

Air balloons, minecarts, spirit tree, an array of amulets/rings, gnome gliders, house portal rooms with customizable teleports, magic carpets, the list goes on and on. I rarely walked anywhere on RuneScape when I used to play all the time.

Addining in the quests are the only thing that, I do enjoy in the game. As for bosses, what bosses?! You get only 3 (excluding dungeoneering) in F2P (Delrith, Count Draynor and the Green dragon) and half of the ones in P2P I can't even call a Boss.
