  • great song by great band. Keep on rockin roger!

  • Of course it sounds like "These are the days of our lives"... it was written by the same person!

  • this is a brilliant song that should have made more headway than it did..well done roge!

  • a bit u2-ish for innuendo

  • This is a good song but i don't find it so hard for freddie to sing... freddie sung "the show must go on" in one take, i think he would sing this song easily too...

  • Wonderfull melody and lyrics by Roger.

One of my "The Cross" Top Ten

  • @TaylorMayed07 - where is your evidence that this was meant for Innuendo?

  • @nikican I agree, I keep seeing people posting that it was meant as a Queen song but Ive never, heard or read that.

  • Is there ANY evidence at all that Roger ever considered this for Innuendo? Don't think there is people!

  • @nikican In fact, when Brian was asked about that in his Soapbox he said Rog never brought it to the table as a potential Queen song. In fact, Brian said he didn't think he'd ever heard the song.

  • amazing!! I love this so much... Roger rules!

  • great song!

  • who else thinks that vocal bit from 10 seconds, sounds like the melody to 'these are the days of our lives' off Innuendo?? possibly redeveloped into 'days of our lives?

  • @tobibarnet Absolutely, i was singing this song away to myself and somehow ended up with 'these are the days ... ' there's definitely a link there :)

  • @tobibarnet I think ur right.. it sounds like These are the days..

  • i like this album, the song and the sounds is very catchy.

  • Rumours say it was planned for Innuendo but John thought it was so hard for Freddie and therefore Roger used it for Blue Rock :)

  • thanks for that

  • @manuel86mi

Rumours say that John said to Roger: "If you make him sing that I'm gone!"

  • your right i love this song tooo :)

but u see can u honeslty believe roger would blame his best friend for getting aids come on think about it?????

i think roger wrote it about ppl who suffer with diwseases and how the world is turning into some new dark qage :)

  • the best Cross's composition..

  • i own all three albums in several formats, plus other rare stuff. its like finding rocking horse sh*t.

but keep trying,. blue rock is cheaper to find in the states.

  • Anyone Know where I can get The Cross's Album's?

  • They are rare, especially the last 2! :) Try on ebay!

  • lost time. let loose, you can find only the first one (too pop for my taste) wich is still on print. mad bad adn blue rock are deleted from several years, and reach 60 euro on ebay every time, on cd.from a queen collector, it s not well worth.

soon or later they ll reissue them, be sure.

  • try ebay, thts where i got mine

  • the cross were a great band, seen em twice, brilliant, roger is a good guitarist and singer, and best of all for all you queen fans, he was happy to sit and chat after the gig.

  • Weird to see Roger behind a guitar and singing lead instead of behind drums.

  • "hand of fools" rocks

  • One of the best Cross's songs, didnt knew that Roger had wrote this for Queen, and I dont think that Freddie would sing this...he didn't had that political sense as Roger.

  • I really like this song...

  • the begining is like these are the days of our lives

  • it's written in the same time, 1990

  • I love this song! I have never seen the video.

"Blue Rock" is one of my favorite albums ever.

  • don't like this version, the album version is much better. doesn't feel rushed.

  • Written of Roger for Queen, never played by queen, so he used it for the cross

  • Yip, the song was written by Roger, and it was intended to b used on Queen's Innuendo album, but John Deacon was against having it on the album, as it was to uncomfortable for Freddie.

  • dont believe for a minute that song was written for queen, it was definately written for the cross album blue rock album, doesnt fit in with anything queen were doing at the time.

  • if u knew anything about them at all...u wud know tht Roger had written this song for the Innuendo Album, But John was against havin it on the album, as it was too uncomfortable for Freddie

  • wow! que buen tema!

  • with hand of fools" this is my favourite song of the cross.

"blue rock" what a great album!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • first time hearing it, great song !! would've been a big hit if queen done it. cross rocks!

  • Definitly the best song written by Roger Taylor for the Cross !!! I still love it !!!

  • Indeed!

  • Excellent song!!
