  • I combined some of these exercises with a few of the other leg ones (like the BOSU ball squat) and have seen my jumping power, strength and yes, even the look of my legs, increase substantially after only a few weeks. Everyone should be doing these routines. I hopped back on the leg press machine after a few weeks away from that I used to do Jeff's routines, and found that I could increase the load by huge amounts. I love these videos, but I feel bad that I have not bought the program yet :(

    is it also a good idea to workout in cycles? i'm not too strong so i want some strength then explosiveness, so should i work out strength for 6-8 weeks then explosivness afterwards?

  • What would you recommend for someone with duck feet? I cant keep my kneew and feet pointing straight so I have balance issues? should i just do stuff like this and learn to balance the way i am?

  • make sure your well warmed up doing these exercises  and makes sure you also have a certain level of leg strength before you start with extra weights. or even the body weight exercises . less is more here and plyometric like these on hard surfaces are only going to lead to injuries .... especially in the groin area and in the knees

  • @11essexboi11 u should do these exercises prob once a week so that on days in between you can try other explosive leg workouts that jeff has on here. also try his diet plans there awesome!

  • Jeff- I had an idea for a video. What about addressing the issue of stretching.  According to David Zinczenko of Men's Health, stretching is the new gun control: you are either for it or against it.

  • Look the fact is that if you listen to most of the intro's he tells you what you need to know.like i see people asking him questions that he had already answered in the videos.

  • @pronation1 Judging by your description of what you desire vs. what you don't you are a little misguided. But no big deal. Because strength tends to increase with size so getting buff as you put it will undoubtedly mean you're getting stronger which is what you need to do to strike envy in the 10yr old kids when you shake there hands at summer camp in a few weeks...

  • @pronation1 Seriously. For a firm handshake you need to focus on exercises that will target your forearms, increase your hand/grip strength. So try curling a weight bar with an overhand grip(palms facing down) hands should be about a foot apart. Try pinching two 5lb steel weight plates together (while standing) and hold. If you can do that for 30sec. move up to 10lb plates. Lastly Pullups which will help strenghten a wide array. These three should get you started on your Kung-Fu Grip. Goodluck

  • @Standup4314 Thank you, also I was wonder what is the best for core, I mean some people that don't seem too much bigger than me i touched them on there shoulder and I felt there strength from their whole body, do you know which workouts work best for that

  • Hey Jeff, I have an old ankle injury that won't go away (which means my ankle is pretty much effed up). I skipped most leg routines because of it and now I have chicken legs. Just a suggestion, maybe you can show us some exercise for people with injuries. i hope that make sense. Thank you.

  • @sanchitoazn94 there is no such thing as "TONING" just burning fat to look more "toned" keep ur diet in check, add more volume to ur exercies, and more cardio.

  • as someone who used to do shit load of all kinds of jumps; I would avoid most of these unless you are competing in some kind of professional sports. But if you have to do them, do them without weights.
