Then there were times where he does the fake voice into his regular mic, and Phil would be like "How'd you get in here!?!" then the fake voice would be back on the phone.

This guy was like a hero to me when I worked as a driver at the airport. He kinda lost me when he seemed to go out of his way to convince his listeners that war in Iraq was justified.

Hey Phil. Got a question for ya. Why are you such a fucking asshole now? What happened? You used to entertain. Now you just talk over callers, most of whom end up schooling you so you resort to branding them with titles like 'nazi', 'progressive', 'douchebag'. Sadly, you're right. Phil's show is unlistenable now. He started to go downhill right after 9/11. From then on he was an insufferable blowhard who did comedy on the side. Phil turned into what he used to mock... boring, opinion driven, standard talk radio. From about 1994 til about 1999, his show was the most creative, bizarre, and hilarious program in radio. Syndication and 9-11 slowly killed all the fun out of the show. Now it's a shadow of what it once was. Kinda makes me sad.

Meh, I heard the dude on the radio, heard some "interview" where he was talking with someone who spoke Arabic, happened to be a dude with some abusive kid. Terrible acting on all parts. I really miss this show. The Phil Hendrie show was sheer genius. It took me about a week for the light bulb to come on when I first started listening. Some of the funniest shit I've heard on radio. Ted Bell was my favorite character. I think his name was Ted Bell. It's been a couple of years since that show was on in Cincinnati.
There was a story about Domino's Noid which makes me wonder what Steve Bosell was actually based on..in 1988 or so, a man held up Domino's becuase they had that silly Avoid the Noid...sounds like a Steve Bosell lawsuit. I wonder if Mr.Bosell was based on that incident, both he and this guy who held up Domino's were also both from the south..

Now you just talk over callers, most of whom end up schooling you so you resort to branding them with titles like 'nazi', 'progressive', 'douchebag'. Sadly, you're right. Phil's show is unlistenable now. He started to go downhill right after 9/11. From then on he was an insufferable blowhard who did comedy on the side. Phil turned into what he used to mock... boring, opinion driven, standard talk radio. From about 1994 til about 1999, his show was the most creative, bizarre, and hilarious program in radio. Syndication and 9-11 slowly killed all the fun out of the show. Now it's a shadow of what it once was. Kinda makes me sad.

One of my favorites is when Steve Bosell (Valarauko) sues the Olive Garden for emotional distress. He was wearing a cowboy outfit and got toilet paper caught on his spurs as he walked out of the bathroom. Its a Classic! I laughed until I peed my pants. "Is it true that you pulled out your plastic squirt gun and tried to shoot the toilet paper off of your spurs?"

This guy is a Scientologist. He hires people to act on his show for listeners and is a complete fool. Every time I hear his voice on 97.3FM Seattle by instinct I change the channel. He he the epitome of depravity and shouldn't be given any airtime.

Meh, I heard the dude on the radio, heard some "interview" where he was talking with someone who spoke Arabic, happened to be a dude with some abusive kid. Terrible acting on all parts. After changing the channel, heard the same voice on the radio but some dude trying to be a chick was talking with the same accent, etc. I cannot believe he gets airtime.
Someone get a petition going to get this dude off the air. Art Bell was much more entertaining.

I really miss this show. The Phil Hendrie show was sheer genius. It took me about a week for the light bulb to come on when I first started listening. Some of the funniest shit I've heard on radio. Ted Bell was my favorite character. I think his name was Ted Bell. It's been a couple of years since that show was on in Cincinnati.

There was a story about Domino's Noid which makes me wonder what Steve Bosell was actually based on..in 1988 or so, a man held up Domino's becuase they had that silly Avoid the Noid...sounds like a Steve Bosell lawsuit. I wonder if Mr.Bosell was based on that incident, both he and this guy who held up Domino's were also both from the south..
