I'm a huge Rush fan, and into 3D as well. This is amzing work. I love the intro as I know YYZ is the call letters (or whatever they are called) for the Airport there. Another cool fact, the guitar rift (starts on a triangle? for first few measures) at the very beginning is YYZ in morse code. Great modeling and timing your keyframes, must have taken forever.

This video is incredible. It takes a good drummer to be able to put this together, correct? Seeing this CG dude play almost makes the whole tune seem deceptively easy - like each fill is programmed into his hands and feet without the chance of messing up. But I appreciate that when there was a serious fill, the camera angle went TO the appropriate drums and not away from. A lesser animator might have cheated by showing the plane during the tricky parts. Was there a video reference to use?
