In the U.K we have a benefits sysytem and although it has changed a bit over the years we get helped to find work and given support while we get our allowances. I used to work in a welfare to work program AND I am Bible- believing Christian. What the majority of those people need- including the Pastor- is a real conversion to Christianity and living a life worthy of the calling of Christ. Obama hasn't increased welfare spending unless you mean the TANF Emergency Contingency Fund under ARRA, which is creating 180,000 jobs for parents on welfare. So instead of giving them a welfare or unemployment check, parents are being paid to go to work and gain experience. That is a great use of federal funding.

Very Nice FREE Section 8 homes (while we pay rent in shitty apartments), they drive CADILLACs, BMWs, and Dodge Magnums with custom paint, tinted windows, rims, and stereo systems! Hospitals will go bankrupt because of the Welfare because they keep coming in like there's no tomorrow, while working stiffs stay home because they can't afford it!
