I really think that supernanny is funny. She brings the comfort of a well-made chair into the matter of children misbehaving. One does not reward a child for behaving badly.

you dont wanna be too hard on the kids and it only takes her less than 2 weeks to put em in line and in the end they still love her

I won't say the all the kids are being bad. A lot of it has to do with the parents. Lots of parents baby their kids (strollers, pacifiers, bottle, etc.) and give their kids the power to challenge them. As for their behavior in this vid, they are just bored. All kids act up[ when they are bored.

the problem with supernanny is that she uses time out punitively, when she should be using it as a time to help a child and parent cool down and feel better. This is a wonderful skill to develop - it stops the escalation of turmoil. Cool Down Time is what it should be called. Time out should never be used punitively.
