You, in one of your other videos was speaking of things that are thought provoking? Well this one hits the nail on the head! Very nice, Thank You Dibber!!
Wow thanks for that tour Del...Ive been past a couple of times and wondered what it looked like, now I know...and I dont have to climb those steps..omg my knee's would kill me comming down...but saying that there's nothing like "being there",which I may attempt someday....I love old places...its fantastic to feel part of history...big thumbs up....great vid
@Maladay Those steps aint to bad, looks worse than it is. Yup Berkhamsted is an awesome place and so far hasnt been touched by the blight of mass importation of people, i guess it will stay this way as 99% of the land around it is protected and not allowed to be built on. xxxxx
Holly crap Del, i didn't know that. Where do you get all this historical information from, i also wonder why there isnt to much information about this in the history books regarding the Battle of Hastings, all very odd.
Very cool video Del, i lived in Berko for about 10 years as you know but i never knew the surrender of the last nobles took place there. I've spent an hour looking for links about this but as you said "not much mention of Berko in any of them" i'm now wondering why.
thanks for that Del,I find it interesting to check these sites on google earth for an idea of scale and layout.......keep up the good work bro,we all have much to do
Thank you brother, what a fasinating and beatiful place, straight out of the pages of history, a intensly interesting vid, thank you for shooting it and sharing it with us, well done!
