It looks like the F4i when down in an area where debris on the road because he was of the racing line from passing, not because he went off-road from not slowing down.
Patience my man, Patience! Passing is the easiest part, just run him down hard. Deep braking and get your nose into his field of view and let him make the mistakes. At this stage of the game someone will make mistakes You just don't want it to be you. I look at behind opportunity to study the person up front if he's that good. If your observant and put the pressure on, the passing opportunities will be abundant and clean. Its all about the setup a few turns ahead of his weakness.
@AZZ3R1 100% correct. Alas, in 'Tube Land', few can spell much less pronunciate correctly. There are plenty of opinions but few real thoughts behind the comments. If television is the "... drug of the nation, breeding ignorance and feeding radiation ...", then 'Tube World' is indeed it's ADHD Gen-Y child, always spouting shit without a shred of intelligence to support the comments, all based on other equally uneducated posters who in turn eat up anything their oft Gen-Y ilk regurgitate.
If you go hot into the corner like that you should downshift earlier @ higher rpm's.. his mistake was he didn't downshift soon enough to grab the correct gear @ the right rpm for that turn. Maybe he was too excited about the overtaking he forgot to keep a look out for the next turn and react to it.
OOOOKAY just because a mistake was made doesn't mean you can destroy this guy with the negative comments, He caught a ducatti, and if im not mistaken the F4 has roughly 250cc less displacement. so suck it to all you people hes human
brains needed when you want to succeed...but if u cant compete then dont...it doesnt mean that because you have an f4 youre the king of the roads...and your f4 doesnt worth it.
Everyones saying atleast he passed the ducati up, but maybe the ducati was slowing down so he wouldnt take that turn and crash like the F4 guy did :P he wasnt catching him till they were coming up on that turn
@KarasxOtoha Agreed. He wanted that pass too badly. I've been on VIR a lot and he was in too hot. Did that a lot early on. He also cut off the Duck's line in doing so, which is just bad form. Yeah, it seems to not be sticky in that corner as well. It's tricky, and I think the duck rider knew that going into it. Vetted.
But I think most were agreeing...with sarcasm.
(Uhh...blagahaga? The F4 has about 75HP & 2lbs of torque vs the 848's actual 120/68)
found your mistake at 0:26 you were almost find but you did one thing wrong and that is you eased of the gas too much. remember throttle control is very important during a turn/curve rule one: once the throttle is open it is to remain open smoothly and constantly throughout the turn
Ouch man that suuuucks. Are you still in one piece? If I had to guess, I'd say you went outside the race line and got into some of the loose stuff. Not sure if F4i's come with slipper's, but it might help your downshifts into the corners. Hope you're alright bud.
that was a sweet vid! sorrry bout the crash man!! at least it stayed low, but ne ways you gotta work on your down shifting while braking, if you wouldnt have let off the brakes to do that downshift you wouldve made the turn easy! use two on the lever and pinky and ring to blip the throttle, and youll be good
now thats how you take a corner...no seriously ive done it, its way more exciting than it looks

you where driving completly the opposite of the racing line. and also, the outside of a turn is always dusty and lots of other stuff.

That's what happens when you try to 'out brake' a Ducati in a turn...
Hope you're ok.
I own both A Ducati and a Honda, love them both, but for pure adrenaline and speed, it's the Ducati everytime.....
