Seriously--TLC needs to feature some natural births where people actually trust birth.. They always go on and on and on about how its a CRAZY ABNORMAL thing for a woman to deliver with no OB care, or no meds by themselves and have it work out okay. I had my second at home, with a midwife, and I didn't see an OB at all during my pregnancy. It was beautiful. <3

I had my first baby at home w/ a certified Midwife & her assistants. She'd sent me to specialists, drew blood & sent it to labs, requested ultrasounds & came to my house for the last few checkups. She brought oxygen for me & baby @ birthing, antibiotics, pitocin... Birth is NOT an emergency. It's a right of passage!

I hate it when they use huge babies. I've seen smaller babies used on Tv so I know it can be done. It just takes away from the whole moment when you're looking at a four month old smeared with artificial blood.

@tirmazi27 she was resisting pushing so she wouldn't get a hemmorage, which is really common when the baby is a "breech" (when it comes out feet first)
i dont get that every mother goes for a scan and the doctors do tell them that if they're twins, single, or triplets but im shocked to know that the mother didnt even at once cared if shes having twins or what
@a2m2s0 she of course cared. its possible that the other baby was hiding or lower like more towards the back that wasnt picked up by the ultrasound. just like sometimes the ultrasound says its a boy when it comes out a girl.

@adamsmummy1 Identical twins can share the same chord. Twins who share a chord have a greater risk of Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome, where one baby is receiving more blood then the other.
