  • @m5boarddotcom what is the HP of 335d, 272HP or 286HP? and also torque?

  • what wins the 335i or 335d in the video ???

  • Diesels aren't 0-60 cars, they have meaningful power for driving on public roads. The torque is amazing for that.

  • My mom have a bmw 335d 08, its awesome :D

  • taxi!!!

  • Haha the BMW 335 won !!!

  • @fazer12279 Not correct. The diesel cars are more expensive as the engine and components are more expensive to manufacture. Think.

  • 0:32 the guy in the 335d just found out his cruise control was on all the time!. :p

  • @npo22184 lucky you... where i live its $0.91 per litre for premium and i think diesel is about the same if not like 2 cents chaper

  • @Dani01c Diesel used to be so cheap, but now its almost the same as petrol!! At least you gett more miles out of it.

  • Make a video with BMW X6 M !!!

  • Would be nice to see the new 535d with 313HP vs. the 535i with 306HP...

  • Thanks for racing cars of this car, too!

Actually that result is quite surprising to me because the coupe isn't that much lighter and hasn't that much extra power...

Maybe it's because of the transmission ratio...

  • Coupe is lighter...

  • Wait for the 550dx M to tear up the tarmac. Surely remapped instantly by some of your crazy Stockholm lads.

  • you only buy a diesel if you can't afford a petrol.

Plus diesel is more expensive at the pump also.

  • @fazer12779

Diesel is cheaper in many countries.

In mine it is 0.15€ per litre.

  • @fazer12779 Are you moronic?! You must be. Go to the official BMW website and click build your car. The diesel is more expensive then the regular gas car. Why comment such ignorance without first making sure what you say is gonna be accurate. The 335d is the most expensive 3 series without going to the M classes.

  • @TheEvanCole Sedan

  • I´d take 335d....

  • Remap that 35d and you will have enough torque to move road

  • I'd take a diesel with a ton of torques over a petrol-powered car any day of the week :)

  • Interestingly entertaining.

  • well , i gotta say, its a good diesel , if i was looking for a diesel car , that should be my only option =p

  • How have the comments negated the weight difference? Diesel + sedan = much heavier than coupe. This was no surprise but I think the 335d did better than expected.

  • a rolling star race with a diesel not a fair race .

  • hands down the 335d for me. That 335i coupe is

    a) a douchemobile

    b) uncool

    c) common as house flies

The d is efficiant and fast. The petrol car really only put 2 car lengths or so on it till the 200+kmh speeds...and at the end of the day who gives a fuck about how fast a car is beyond 200kmh in the real world? Which brings me back to the real world...that d will get about 30% better fuel numbers...and that's interesting.

  • @sakimano You can also chip it and make more torque than the regular one.

  • @sakimano maybe some people prioritize the sound from the engine over the fuel numbers?

  • @sakimano and if you do a chiptuning you even get better economy and even more power compared to a petrol....and another diesel plus is durability, you can have 300 000km with that engine with no problems...and it value declines less....diesel is also a cheaper fuel...better car overall...specially for long distances the diesel is so silent and low-rev is enough for a crusing effortless speed!

  • @sakimano I like diesels, but there is limited thing you can do to it. The 335i has so much more potential to tune, some walk M3s with just a tune, its on of the best cars you can get.

  • @sakimano

    c) it's common in the States, not in Europe. The 335d too.

  • @sakimano Thats your opinion. I personally would rather have the 335i. I would rather have 30% bigger fuel numbers and have a car that sounds better (is quiet when you are driving slowly and sounds good when you put your foot down), has better responsiveness, is cheaper in the first place, faster, and has more tuning potential. Where I live there are cars like the 335d more common than the 335i.

  • @endMCMXCII

    +1 totally agree :)

  • @sakimano

    Mmm, no.

  • Comment removed

  • @sakimano As a 335i owner, I agree that it does have the tendency to attract douchebags. But, then again, so many good cars have the same effect! (Impreza STI, Evo, Camaro, Challenger...) b is kind of subjective, but I do find the 335d to be way cooler. Agreed on c. It's super common. I would have gotten a 335d if it had a 6 speed available.

  • @sakimano

lool first time some one says BMW 335 Sedan looks better than 335 coupe...what a joke :D yeah what ever heh i dont care fuel numbers..so thats no reason to me...common,well havent seen like less than 10 ever here...and diesel, yes fast, but the exhaust & engine sound in petrol version...well...cant even compare...if you like listen diesel, thats your choice :D

  • @sakimano no, because diesel sucks.

  • Man that diesel is shit

  • all that 335d needs is some minor tuning and it will be quicker then the i

  • @W33Dblazer you can just as easily tune the 335i

  • 335 ftw...coupe, that is :-)

  • 335D is faster than I thought!!! ;-)

  • Diesels are slow

  • Make a "d" with your hand, zero.

  • I guess quick shifting was not needed. No need to beat up on the clutch if not necessary. he still won

  • 0:18 are you racing or doing a cruise around town? shift like you're in a race lol

  • @orochimaruisugly Se the other 335i Coupe races I posted ;) And the mean comments :D

  • @orochimaruisugly Nigger doesnt know how to change gear

  • @R35GTRBlack i find that offensive

  • @orochimaruisugly its a diesel... you just loose torque at high RPM :)

  • @jondanir you mean, its a diesel... it doesn't have high RPMs lol

  • what kinda shifting is that!?

  • yay for petrol
