Well, Hill$ong believe in Christians being rewarded for their beliefs with unlimited riches. Howard (and Rudd) have lobbied them, promising policies that might assist them to achieve their riches. Yet they drive on our roads, use our health care system and are defended by our military - but they pay no taxes! They also believe that Jesus is coming - just as soon as this unsustainable system collapses -which they have assisted in collapsing!

I do pay taxes but I'd prefer fees. Fees can be assessed fairly. I probably pay 5x to 6x the amount of Fed taxes you do (not bad for a retard, right?). Anyway, do I use 5x to 6x the amount of "stuff" you do. Do I receive multiple times the benefits? No, I just happen to work my ass off. And I'm rewarded by being taxed so that the benefit of my hard work is on par with yours.

I would rather pay fees or duties than taxes. Taxes are arbitrary and imposed at the whim of the powerful few your kind always seems to be whining about. I would bet that I pay annually nearly 3 to 4 times in an unconstitutional US income tax than you do in Holland (Not bad for a retard I think). Anyway, do I use 3 or 4 times the services, or receive a disproportioned benefit for my 70+ hours of work every week?

Keating was not in monetary bankruptcy he was running a budget deficit to offset the recession as would any economist worth his salt. Public debt is irrelevant if we can afford it - personal debt is higher than it has ever been thanks to Howard.
I am not a party political person, but economics today is partly due to Hawke/Keating reforms. So maybe you weren't paying close enough attention to the ALP way.
