I really miss this era of rap/hip-hop. This was a time when rap told stories of life in the ghetto or whatever. It could be gang violence one track, the next could be about shooting basketball or something pleasant. You could have tracks about police problems, drug addiction, church ,dancing and a weekend party on the same album. in the mid 90's it was all guns and drugs, now it's all bling and hoes. There's no art to rap anymore, and it's really sad.

Then there's big Daddy Kane. hell anything associated with the Juice Crew was awesome. Modern rap and hiphop is Glitzy and empty in comparison to almost anything made before 1995.
