Easily my favorite artist, possibly my favorite song. Usually in my car, I skip half the songs on my iPod, but for years, I have never skipped this song.

I've read speculation as to the song's exact meaning and intent, but nobody is ever consistent. Quite frankly, I don't give a rat's arse what it's about. It's just perfect.

Been an Elliott Smith fan for a long time, just started getting into Sufjan (ha, already assuming first name terms with him) - absolutely love his voice and music. The variety in his instrumentation is awesome.

A lot of his music, but this song especially, reminds me of Elliott Smith, and I love Sufjan for that.
