The stream aspect of it is not very viable, at least not yet. They should combine the aspect of downloading like Steam with the service. I could easily see them moving out of the proprietary market like VUDU and Amazon Unbox has done. Those services were only available if you purchased their hardware. Now the software for the service is on a bunch of devices. I just wish there was a way to make your own backups of PS3 games that you download onto a Blu-Ray disc or add an external drive.
@Nedspodos I know that you can add an external drive for game savings but that doesnt take up much space. Or at least the demos since they are not full games.
try the free trail they dont charge u and u dont even have to put in credit card information u get to try out just about all the games for free for like 30 minutes so its a good idea to try it no im not working for onlive i just got dont downloading it and i thoguht u all give it a try
If cloud computing takes off say Bye Bye to privacy, every porn site you visit, every text you send, virtually all your activities and your private info could be in the hands of those lovely corporations who prove themselves to be so lovely time and time again.
@Godisen007 for now it cost alot of money over time it will be shipped over to uk o r altrailua or japan witch i thought they already shipped it to japan but not yet id don't think
that's 2 and a half grand later playing on medium graphics with ur bulky custom made machine that will need replacing in a year. nah but ur right it will attract a unfavourable crowd.
No problem! I forgot to mention you can also get into their beta program if you want to have a shot at trying it out before the full release, just google "OnLive" to find their site (I can't post links in comments) and then click the Beta Sign Up button at the top of the page. Thanks for the comment!
It better work! lol im hoping on this to work cause its a brill idea. One thing I'm not sure is that if you plug it to your tv is it offline or something little confuse or whatever but more info will come out later
From what I saw it looks like you'll be online when you plug it into your TV, the mini console has an ethernet jack so if nothing else you'd be online that way. Thanks for the comment!

If this really works, then relief of money might be solved..
Believe me, PC games will be overrated at the end..

Onlive is genius! Spend money on the games, not the hardware!

Id rather play with PC gamers, not the douche bag 6-year old fucks that Onlive and Gaikai will attract.

Sounds good, but I am skeptical
Plus, i think their might be a lawsuit over the game.
* Why would they bother having single player game on here?? If i am going to pay to play online, i want to play online multiplayer games.
