i like some gothic clothing because if you know how to put it together it look nice people say my style is crazy!... some people say gothic is a lifestyle not fashion i really dont know.

I would love to see this exhibition. I agree that she is focusing on just one type of Goth tho. Anyone noticing that the ideology of Goth fashion is creeping into the mainstream a bit more? I am noticing it where I live.

Goth should never be a fashion, in the sense that people parade up catwalks in expensive designer garments. Gothic clothing should always be an expression of mood, and a rejection of the creed of superficiality woven by poisonous materialism. I just wish the 'norms' would leave Goth alone, instead of trying to steal elements of the sub-culture in order to feel 'edgy' and different. Goth is a lifestyle, not a fashion, it is in fact, a rejection of fashion.

I go to F.I.T. and I have yet to go see this exhibition, though some of my friends have modeled for it. ~_~ i need to stop being so lazy.
