Amy still has the best voice in their genre.. Better than most singers out there.

Ben was the one who made evanescence sound "cool", mixing electronic and industrial sounds, with strings and rock influences, all mixed and blended togehter wonderfully.

Since he left, evanescence became pretty 'corny' as far as itcomes to their sound and compositions (ben composed alot too), almost a clear imply that Ben was responsible for much more in evanescence than often is thought.

Ben is underrated , and was the one that made evanescence great

I'm sorry to say, but all what you're saying is purely an opinion. The band getting better, amy being what the band moves(ed) on? I think their music has lost being intersting after Ben left. I do not say it's because of him, but there could be a relationship there. Now Evanescence does not sound distinctive anymore, sound wise. No more electronic sounds mixed with rock elements etc. But as I said "I think", since it's nothing more than an opinion..

I like the kind of instumentations he makes. Also has the mood of this song a nice flow (like most of his songs). He has great producing talent. I do hear autotune though in his voice all along. However, I have no problems with it, since it makes everyone's pitch totally perfect

@PowerRedBull He might very well be using autotune.but so does Amy Lee & many other artists out there.Autotune is only able to be used if you are ALMOST on pitch but need just a slight correction every once in awhile.The thing about autotune is that if you're WAY off, it'll correct you to the note above or below what you're trying to hit & then you'll just sound terrible.So if you have no talent, no amount of autotune will help you.So you have to have talent to even use it in the first place :)

Yes I know, I have autotune..if you sing very far off pitch, it becomes very clear you're using it, and the sound becomes very "synthetic' sounding, where you can clearly hear the autotune "forcing" the pitch bend to another pitch

The meaning of the song is from when Amy was being stalked a few times and so the song has the perspective of the stalker and of Amy and the way she sings really captures the torment the stalker must be feeling, so instead of wanting it to sound normal it sounds more dramatic and I think it's just personal preference in that song
