  • Either way, you can interpret it as a wonderful ending. Isn't that great? I believe that's a hard thing to accomplish as a writer.

    Also, new link ^^.

  • best ost ever

  • I'm actually like about to cry... this song is so sad TT_TT

  • the ending was beyond sad. the way they drowned, and were depicted in the thereafter.. but also showing how their friends also cared and even how nao made up that story about a text because either she knew they died or just wished to think the best that they somehow just moved on together. but it was a powerful ending, i mean honestly it was like a titanic-style ending but even sadder..

  • @gboy1441 what? They didn't even die........someone saved them. Nao didn't make that up either.

  • @flyablekokoro123 yes they did die, for one, the bear that sora slashed to pieces before she ran into the water was still at their home when the gang went there after meeting up, and it was whole on their train towards heaven basically, you will notice that in the backround all you see is clouds and sky, and the train empty. that among other things proves they died. it was a pretty sad but strong ending to say the least...

  • @gboy1441 They DIDN'T DIE. Yeah, they were on an empty train, but that doesn't even prove anything. Remember the first episode? They we're also on an empty train. And you forgot about the part where they were SAVED and were talking, and hugging each other for warmth. Their deaths were just a theory that some fans made up, it didn't really happen.

  • @flyablekokoro123 Yes they DID die. Like i said, the teddy bear that was from her mother was completely shredded when the gang revisited the dishovled house at the end, and appared BRAND NEW on the train. Furthermore, the text had no date or names, and Nao admitted it was the only message she got and looked sad (turned head) while saying it. When Sora was hugging him he asked her "we arent dead are we" and he got no response either. They are dead, period. The bear thing alone is 100% proof.

  • @gboy1441 furthermore, the title of the 12th episode is "to a distant place in the sky" or something. Nao saying they went to Europe, and faking a text message to comfor the group, was simply because she either didnt know what happened to them and tried to think the best for them.. or she assumed they died after Soras suicide text .. Also, the lake which has a legend of one "being reborn.." plays a part in their death. The ARE reborn, in the afterlife with a new bear and a train to heaven..

  • @gboy1441 Okay, okay. Why is it thought that EVERY PERSON that's reviewed the show said they didn't die? They all said it was just a theory.

  • @flyablekokoro123 well most people wrote they didnt die immediately after the episode ended in december, and they misinterpreted it. a lot of people realized the hints and the meaning weeks or months later. also, in the game they survive i believe, from what i hear, even though i havent seen it. but the writers meant the anime to clearly show they died. Sora didnt even answer haru when hs asks "we are alive right". they died, the camera focuses on these hints like zooms in on the bunny too..

  • @gboy1441 I've been on several forums, looking at bunch of different views on the subject. Not gonna lie, you make some great points, but at the end I think it just depends on the person and how they interpret the ending. The whole "haru bought a new rabbit" theory seemed kind of ridiculous to me too hahah. I'm a pretty open minded person, but I just find it hard to believe they died. Yosuga holds an extremely special place in my heart, so I'm just going to say that it doesn't matter whether

  • @gboy1441 they died or not. I think the ending was more focused on them staying in love and finding eternal happiness together. If you want to believe they died, go ahead. But I still want to believe they're alive.

  • @flyablekokoro123 well yes, i agree, the ending was focused on them staying in love and that was the point of the title for the last episode, "to the distant sky".. i am not happy they died, but im just interpreting the writers clear intent. theres no way they survived unless you start speculating on things that they didnt include in the anime, like they bought a new bear lol. either way, sora and haru were depicted as being together and that itself was comforting. sad as fuk though.

  • @gboy1441 Ugh, i'm just going to wallow in a corner now Dx. But there's one other thing, if they really died, does that mean heaven was depicted as the train that they were in? That doesn't make much sense to me....

  • @flyablekokoro123 heh i somewhat disagree. although i had to admit it shocked the living hell out of me and was really sad to watch, it was a perfect ending. if they survivded it would just diminish the story to an extent. their love (ie incest) was so powerful and unnacepted that heaven/afterlife was the only way they could truly be happy. deep down i wish they survived, but i also recognize that the story would be less beautiful if they did survive. i have to give the writers credit..

  • @gboy1441 I understand now that they died, it just kind of hurt knowing that they didn't last in the real world. That's why I kept arguing. I guess it's better that way though, because if they did survive, they would be judged all of their lives. But yeah, you're right. It's more beautiful if they both died, which is why I'll go with that ending. A lot of people don't like the show because of the incest and graphic sex, it's kind of a shame.

  • @flyablekokoro123 look at the last two episodes again they didn't die

  • @wecrazybaby SMH I AM NOT ARGUING ABOUT THIS ANY MORE.-______- I dont even know, this topic's too fucking controversial. If you think they died, they DIED. If you think they lived, then they LIVED. End of story

  • @gboy1441

Have you seen Angel Sanctuary? You'll like it.

  • @gboy1441 they did survive, remember when they ran away together and left overseas

  • @gboy1441 wait do you mean that they died in the manga?

  • @gboy1441 Actually, they DID NOT DIE. Even the game ending says that they didn't die. Haru could've bought a new bunny. And he was also the one that sent the text, it wasn't fake. Finally, how could they have just died with out any one else getting involved, like the police or something? People would have noticed if something happened to them.

  • @flyablekokoro123 lol, that makes no sense whatsoever, the writers dropped SOOO many hints that its absurd to say she bought a new bunny to replace the old one from her mother, that would defeat the purpose.. Further, they skip ahead to show the group many days or weeks, and we are not shown anything that happened hours or even a few days after they die. Remember, the guy says "we havent done this in a while, but i feel those two held us together as a group" meaning it was a reunion.

  • @gboy1441 bottom line is they die. theres way too many depictions of what happens when you die, without actually saying it outright. at the end of the scene they plunge to the bottom of the ocean, the bear is torn, the train shows nothing but clouds, the title of the episode is.. "in the sky".. Nao says she only received 1 text which shows no name or date when you see the phone.. i mean how many hints do you need that they are dead before you accept it. i wish they lived, it was sad.. oh well.

  • @gboy1441you got me! but let tell you this, how did nao recieve the text?1.in tv shows not everyone who sends you a text saying exactly the name and date, but they made it clear it haru&sora 2.they probaly didn't bother to say goodbye to everyone because i guess they don't care what anyone thinks of them anymore.3.they were too busy in love and ready to move on with there lives and didn't want to look back at the past, i mean sora didn't give a fuck about her bunny anymore thats deep!

  • @wecrazybaby i can send myself a text, the point is that the text was not from haru or sora, and there was no specific explanation on who it was from, so i dont need to speculate. furthermore, the last episodes camera singled out the torn up bunny and vacant house, then immediately focused on the whole bunny. sora held the bunny on the train at the end so she obviously cared, but even if she didnt the bunny was destroyed, and only whole in the afterlife. they died, its well documented.

and i also think it changed my views on love a bit

  • Bro, I am so addicted to this soundtrack. It's crazy.

  • YES! THIS IS THE SONG WERE THEY ALWAYS FUCK! I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • love is fleeting, one of lust or desire, want or nature.. except.. a love of innocence.. of circumstance, something that goes beyond, that of happiness, born out of sorrow.. something far deeper, perhaps of the soul.. impossible to describe.. a love that goes beyond time, space, reality, and.. the moment.

  • i wish it had a "Love it" button instead of "Like", cause i sure do love it!!!!

  • 愛情は単なる言葉。。お互い心を合わせ。。笑って明日え進めば。。何の怖い物無く。。青い大空の下で。

  • its one of those moments when something bad is about to happen and you pause but for some reason you always go back to look...TT_TT

  • I FOUND YOU FINALLY!!!

    THANKS FOR THE UPLOADS :D

  • BEAUTFUL MUSIC i shamefully love there relationship ;_;

  • @sailorjewpiter It's okay. In otaku world, we call it "wincest" xD

  • I admit it was a bit pervy in some shape or form, but the story and the difficulties around each other was a masterpiece. The music just made that even more.

  • This anime is too pervy, and Haruka´s Relationship with his sister is..... well Anyways. The music is the best part of this anime. it´s totally amazing. I could hope more anime had music like this.

  • I can't help it... I had these words come to my mind upon hearing this... to represent the loneliness I feel right now...and this song just brings up the dormant emotions I keep buried inside. ---

    "Is this rain for me?

An allusion to all my dreams,

That were swept away, washed away,

    Down an invisible stream.

    Or are they simply tears,

    Cried each and every year,

Representing my silent misery." --Zexion (me...not the game character)

  • this is simply beautiful! i'm always at tears when this song is finished, so beautiful!

  • This song literally made me cry for the first time in months. I love this so freaking much.

  • I was kinda disturbed with this anime, especially since I have two brothers...

But the OST is awesome, especially this song.

  • Is there a longer version of this? :((

  • Anyone has an anime such like this? I loved Yosuga no Sora

  • Thanks for uploading!

YOUR THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS THE ORIGINAL!

  • @Chrouya

Alright that would be awesome if you could do that! I really like this song! thanks for the response :)

  • is there an extended version to this song? it seems like the one in the show was longer or was it just looping for the longer scenes?

  • @TruLegends16

They might have extended it, as there is no longer version. There are other songs with the same melody but faster, I sure don't hope it's one of the songs that get deleted every time I try to upload it though.

I'll try pitching up the song a bit for youtube, and I'll use another link for my OST download! Please wait a moment!
