When we were going to florida we got upgraded to business class.

I fractured my leg and were on crutches and someone couldn't make their flight in business. So they were looking for someone to take it and my and the family got it =) Best outward flight i've ever had

Looks like either this is an Older Video or the one shown in First Class is Different than in Economy.

For 3 years in a row (06-08) The same exact video played on our CO 1592 & 693 Returning Flight....Same One.

Maybe some planes have different videos.

I love it when they offer you a free meal voucher when you get delayed but the flight actually doesnt offer any form of inflight service. Still its better than england where they don't give a dam about anything and the only customer service they no of is saying thankyou mindlessly like a robot. thats england for you. I actually got upgraded to First Class twice a few weeks ago when flying Monterrey to Houston and from Las Vegas to Houston. Thanks to my elite status on Continental airlines onepass frequent flyer. I think they only provide upgrades on flights within the US and between South America. Transatlantic flights with BusinessFirst cabins do not get complimentary upgrades.

Definitely. American has had more crashes than continental actually. Continental has relatively young and quiet planes too.

Yes. I had a great flight. Continental is roughly half the size of American, and about 4/5 size of United.

It is, Continental has great service and TV's on pretty much every flight except the short-haul ones. The 777's, 767, 757's have Tv's. Some i didn't include, but everything seems better to me than flying on united. United is pretty shabby. Hope that helps.

Wow, some people are apparently very touchy about their choice of airline. I personally have flown Continental but they pulled out of our town (Lansing, MI). I like AirTran and if I'm really on a tight budget, Allegiant Air gets you there cheaply yet comfortably.

i went from honolulu to houston once when i moved to guam. but that wasnt as long as my flight back from guam from honolulu to newark nonstop. but it was very comfortable. best service ever.

I never flew with Continental. I've flown a lot with Delta, AA, and Jet Blue because of the Navy and going home on leave. I have to say that Jet Blue always has the best service. Free headphones and a good-spirited crew. Never had any problems with Jet Blue.

I fly this airlines to Hawaii a lot. Yes they have special meals if you order 24 hours before your flight. They are one of the few airlines in the usa that still serves free meals in coach. I only use them on overseas flights for this reason.

As far as the food goes, if it is the "dinner" service, its a turkey sandwich with a bag of carrots or chips served with a candy bar.
