I personally am convinced this is true about the U.S. Civil War. I spent 4.5 years in the now-shamed Neo-Jesuit, diabolically named congregation the Legion of Christ. My LC peers (I thought oddly) praised the U.S. Civil War's "providentiality," which puzzled me...until now.
As to some of the theological concerns other commenters express, let us always prioritize, as Jesus did, the Great Commandment to love God and neighbor, using that as our starting point for religious dialogue!
Thanks a lot - it's great to expose the Vatican, but we shouldnt' forget that baptists and calvinists have also blood on their hands (in the killing of American natives)!! The interviewee is a bit of a (geocentrist) zealot, bur nonetheless it's nice to see this covered.
@MandolinoFan In all fairness, let's not forget that Catholics role-modeled this (as they had the Calvinists' heresies [such as Calvinism's Total Corruption via Catholicism's Original Sin]).
I encourage you to research the Papal Bull (i.e. executive order) Inter Caetera, its dubious content and its gory aftermath as executed by, among others, Christopher Columbus (Illuminatus) and exposed at length by Catholic Bishop Bartolomeo de las Casas.
