Oh and I do like how fords have a full rear locker switch compared to Chevy why has to have the wheels spin a few times before locking. That bad that you have to spin out before getting good traction. I'm putting lockers on mine soon

Badass truck for sure but you really didnt need 4wd for most of that. Dont be afraid of the skinny pedal. You dont have to give it hell just enough to clean the tires

who ever asked if stick shit or auto is better for off roading, stick shift is better because if you go in mud and get stuck you can put it in a low gear and keep your rpms it will keep the tires spinning so its easier to get through and out of mud or water or sand.

@MrRainbow43 Yes thats true, but you can also put an auto into low gears as well... I think its all based on personal opinion, I have an auto but i love to drive sticks. Its such a good feeling to know you can drop the gear and smash the gas and get alllll the horses runnin. I think it also depends on if its more of a "weekend worrior" or is it a mud truck.

Got 2009 tacoma, upgraded with K&N cold air intake. Mustang cant beat me, even Ford 150 eat my dust. Recently added dual muffler exhaust. Sounds great and now engine can breath much better. Saving money this this time and planning to have my toy lifted

I read that you have the Toytech 3" . I been wanting to do the same for my2010 TRD sport, but I have read some posts about vibrations after the lift! Did you have any? Any issues to be resolved after adding the lift?? Is there a noticeable change on mpg? I am wondering if you loose some with the change of hight.... Thanks in advance for your reply!! Cheers.

@David6801 yeah i have a minor vibration when I accelerate from dead stop i get minor vibration for one second and thats it, that doesnt bother me at all, there is solution for that, but i never have time for that. Gas mileage i cant tell you that, because i lifted my truck when i had 300 miles (bought it brand new) I'll tell you one thing what im getting right now is 14-18

@mazafuka they (tacoma's) do look great with that setup but from a practical standpoint, considering towing, gas mileage, possible gearing change, I think you have a winning setup already. Going too big can hurt your off-roading ability also (ex. steep hills, rollover angles, tight turns, etc) JMO :)
