Myself and some friends obtained one of these for testing. We threw it vertically onto concrete twice and threw it off a second story balcony twice and dropped it into our local river and it still works! We played football with it and the only damage was to some plastic by the screen. If you live an active life then I STRONGLY recommend this toughbook - its amazing! Unfortunatley, we managed to damage it to quite an extent further since then and it is now sitting on my table in pieces :(
Yeah, but what do you mean by an "Active" life. The newer ones aren't bad, but some of the older toughbooks are really thick and heavy (but thats sorta the purpose).
