@skippysk8r78 The ABA track builder has all the features finished. I am not sure how long it will take to finish the shaping and packing. Won't be completely finished until spring though. Races start next spring and the track looks amazing.

@skippysk8r78 We are working with Fly Racing to get one installed. It will be south of the velodrome area and will hopefully be installed this summer.

Im all for the BMX racing track, its alot of fun for families, and is a breeding ground for future cycling stars, not just MOtocross.Look at the success of Robbie McCewen. Too bad my future Velodrome needs 1.8 million?? Come on! Isnt asphalt cheaper? asphalt with sealer on top? My Brother will help, hes in Boise

To the USA cycling crowd, the Velodrome is all dirt in a field right now, you can see evidence of a banking though. Jack in CT

The dirt grading is complete - we just need about 1.8 million for concrete and we will be ready to build.

I hear ya. I think I'll just start a grass track club. In theory I could just buy that out of pocket. I'm all in favor of more proper velodromes, but there's nothing wrong with "grass roots" racing either.

P.S. What's wrong with this picture? LA has America's only indoor track. WI, MN, ID, NY and NH only have outdoor tracks.

Velodrome kicks ass! It's fast-paced, strategic, and boasts many different types of races. BTW, PA has an outdoor track as well, it's called the Lehigh Valley Velodrome. That's where Mardy Nothstein grew up racing.
