you can leave the temp folders on the sd card and just overwrite them as you add more, you dont have to delete stuff.

@mad87645 I don't have the option to change the cIOS until it reads the disk, but it never reads the disk so i never get to the option. it tries to read it and says disc error. USB loader works fine, so I'm not all that concerned but I have gotten DVDs to work on another wii so its kinda bothering me.

SO i did all this and i got a "DVD error 2" at the Uloader why is that? i burned the img with imgburn at 4x.Also i downloaded the TBFS manager and put some game in my usb stick and it played normaly so no need to burn dvds

Sorry to bother, but I'm a noob. What do you mean by "back up the files"? Do you want me to take the Permanent SD and Temp 1 files out of the SD and put it into a folder on my comp? Cause the first time I tried this I put the Temp 1 files into the SD while the Permanent SD files were still in the SD and I replaced a few files like boot.dol and wad. -__- sorry for being such a noob and THANKS in advance.

I am using Maxell brand DVD-R discs. I have burnt both wii sports resort and SMG. Both were US, NTSC files. I have tried playing both in my console, but no luck.

Super Mario Galaxy reads: "The disc cannot be read. Consult the wii user guide, etc"

Wii Sports Resort reads: "Error #002 An error has occurred. Please read the Wii operations manual for further instructions."

When you say to put the temp 2 on sd card i do it but when it asks what ios i can only select one should i select do not reload or should i select ios36? Like i can only select one.

@SuperMastrMind must be in the format or something and youve burned to the disc. if its in an RAR format then extract it with the winRAR computer program. if its in many different parts then pick any part and extract it with winRAR aswell

hey.  when loading the temp 2 files, i didnt see where it asked to "do not reload ios" but everything after that went through. i didnt scroll over to select the do not option, is there a way to go back in and fix or change that? what option could i have picked by mistake? thanks

@jer4251 thats one of the last options, you are given the option to use evry IOS on the wii for this and you need to scroll through about 50 options before you find "do not reload IOS", but im afraid it wont work without it

i think its possible, you would have to get a pretty large sd card. you can use a usb drive also if you want though. you will probably have to use something besides uloader to load the game off your sd though.

@driznitheraliznoodra as troyskate said, it ispossible with an SD card though, but it must NOT be over 4GB (or in other words, an ADHC, wiis dont read SDHC cards), but 4gb will only get you a few scrubbed ISO's and not any full ones.

You can play games with a USB or portable HDD with Uloader and a program for the USB device called WBFS manager

@ilikefatasians there is no real faster way. Try searching for Compressed Iso's (beware though, some dont work on DVD's) and torrents with high seeders

sounds like a wifi problem. Test your connection and try again. if not there arwe cIOS WAD's you can use (google around, there not hard to find)

The only reason why boot2 as ios is an option is because newer Wiis have boot2 as read only and cannot be written over like the old Wiis...so unfortunately for anyone who got a Wii that came with system menu 4.X anytime in 2008 or later...you cannot use boot2, and in the event of a full brick, you are completely screwed. Unless you BSed Nintendo into thinking something else happened and got them to repair it with their recovery disk...

Bootmiias IOS can only help you recover from banner bricks and semi bricks, if you install it as IOS and you full brick yourself, you just killed your wii

3. most bricks can be recovered from with tools like priiloader, so it essintially wont matter

4. Wiiconnect24 needs to be turned off for the cIOs installers as Wiiconnect24 will block unknown connections on 4.2

@mad87645 boot as ios will only help you unbrick from banner bricks(like when you install out of region vc games)...boot 2 can help you unbrick from ANY brick if you backed your nand up onto your sd. If you have it as IOS and you do something like delete your system menu or and IOS(like 70) you just raped your wii in the disk drive. But if you did that with boot2, it would be recoverable. Also all tutorials and guides and experts not only suggest but stress that you install it as boot2

1) Install bootmii as boot2

2) Backup your wii NAND(You can check out my video on backing it up)

3)if your wii bricks, you can roll back your system to whenever you backed it up (so backup your wii before you mess with system menus and IOSes)

You can also reinstall anything you overwrote instead of rolling back if you go to the homebrew channel, wad manager, then install the necessary files

Yes i burned at 4x. Uloader wouldnt even pop up just a black screen but I just ended up downgrading to 3.2 and finally got 1 of the games to work now I'm working on the super mario bros. trying to get it to play. Thank you though very much

tested by me, works almost perfectly. only problem is rarely it will say it cant read the disk. simple, just eject the disk and put it back in and sit back down problem solved. other than that the game works flawlessly as i was playing it.

scroll across, u may need to use a camecube controller as some installers have wii remote sync problems. Otherwise try 249 and hope it works

If you have the homebrew channel, update that to the newest version first. Then update yur wii over the wifi connection. Disc updates are known to be problematicso update over wifi (the wifi and disc updates are the same), put in the game and play away
