I love the Lions and i believe that with a draft like

1st Ndamukong Suh DT

2nd Jahvid Best HB

3rd Perrish Cox CB

4th T.J. Ward S

7th Dan Connor

We would possibly have a 7-9 team!

@maxypooh15 I'm excited for the draft too! You know I've gone over it in my head a billion times now about who they might draft based on who is available changing my mind all the time and I know I'm probably going to be wrong anyways I just want to see what happens now. I think Suh is a safe bet and a good pick for a team like our Lions who have wasted a lot of high draft picks on risky players.

@maxypooh15 lions are picking suh because we're not gonna draft a CB in the 2nd round. jahvid best will boost ticket sales and add excitement. we'll draft suh in the first round to take some slack off the secondary.

man i hope they do good this year i go to almost all the games with my dad and last year we seen some of the smallest attendance records 38k at 1 game 43k another.

Lions need a line to give Stafford time to make plays but most of all we need better pass protection and better defensive players.

Johnny i didnt think of it that way yeah as a matter of fact we should get all young players!!! although if we did sign jamal we would be a really tough defender....i just want someone INCREDIBLE next to delmas...We would have a great secondary for years to come if we got berry and some corners!! it would work both yours and my way!!!!

Look at STL...They Built around the Line, and how good are they??? Carriker, Long, Smith, they are all average at best.

Our line will be great with the addition of the DT from Nebraska so if we draft a quick cb 2 develope we'll be fine defensivly but i worried about the O-line honestly Matt got killed last year

@productofnewark hope he's still available with the #2 pick though I don't think Gerald McCoy will be a bad pick if Suh is unavailable. Good thing about OT is usually you can pick up some very quality ones in later rounds of the draft.

Lets look at the starting defensive front line, Avril-Hill-Williams-KVB

now the LB corps-Sims-Levy-Peterson

now the secondary-?-Delmas-?-and it look like Houston at CB

Even though Suh is verrrrry enticing, I believe our biggest weakness is now the secondary, Either take suh and have one of the best front lines or spread the wealth and trade down and get Eric Berry and Kyle Wilson/ Patrick Robinson to complete the secondary.

@hauntedspawn81 I guess I want Wilson on the team more than Berry because I saw Wilson more this past season and he really stood out to me. Still it seems that either would be an excellent choice and unless we trade down with the first pick Wilson will be the only one possibly available.

we need jamal williams!!!not suh!!suh is good but we need eric berry.were gonna be facing tough teams at home like the patriots,packers,and the vickings so our secondary needs to step up and with a strong mature o line providing leadership to berry and delmas..we should still start smith but we really need an o line!we can still get sproles or larry johnson as 3rd down backs to keep the ground game aggressive against tough teams!if that all happens the lions are gonna be tough in the nfc north..

@l2eActionz I think you'd be right if we were trying incredibly hard to win this year but if we're building a team for the long term future, which I think we should, we should go with Suh. Guess the point about Williams doesn't matter now though since he was signed.

The Lions had one of their best drafts in team history last year and are building on that foundation again this year. They are off to a great start so far to add to Stafford, Pettigrew, Delmas, Levy, and Hill. I believe that McCoy and Suh would be the best picks at #2, unlesss we can trade down. In the 2nd round we need the BPA, preferably a corner or defensive end. Drafting Dwyer anywhere in this years draft would be a huge mistake, he is fat and slow! Can't wait for the draft. Go Lions!!!!!!!

@bowlingbrocker Agreed, even the 2008 Draft wasn't that bad and Matt Millen did that one haha. Still disagree with the Pettigrew pick though. We might get lucky and have CBs Devin McCourty or Kyle Wilson available second round. I don't see us taking a defensive tackle first and then a defensive end second. Thanks for the input and kudos to staying a Lions fan, I know it has been hard.

i would be very happy if the lions drafted eric berry..and then found a way to scoop up kyle wilson...but these drafts never go my way..drafting sue would be pretty exciting as well..but one cut block on that knee and he may be done..
