I particularly liked every Persona's gameplay. What really decided if I loved or just had an average liking towards the game was the story, which is a lot better in Persona 2, IMO.
@Nattewaterlelie There aren't really any wrong opinions. Everyone has their own tastes. I enjoyed all persona games. I think that, for p3 and 4, they had fairly serious storylines when you take a look at them. The problem? The whole j-pop atmosphere is what really detracted from them. I can't take a murder mystery seriously when there's a teddybear mascot yelling at me with cheery music playing in the background while running through a purple stripclub.
@BlazeBorginSL Honestly, even the plot failed in Persona 4. The 'mystery' died when a POLICE OFFICER kept giving away confidential police info on the same damn spot to the same damn people and using 'oops' as an excuse. Like how can Naoto, a so-called detective, not pick-up the obvious after a point? They were using plot stupidity too much in Persona 4.
So nice! I'm gonna get the OST.

@subgamers
Not really dude. Have you even played it? P2 plot is far more serious than that of 3, at least. 4 was nice but still not toe to toe with this.

@subgamers
You will definitely not regret it :D
The only drawback to Persona 2 is that sometimes you NEED to grind before facing certain bosses.
AstralSword 10 months ago
@AstralSword im sorry,im kinda stupid.whats grind?
subgamers 10 months ago
@subgamers
Grind = Leveling up so that you won't get your ass whooped by certain bosses :P

It's from the original Persona game. (The playstation version.)
Disc 2: Track 17 "静かな刻" (Quiet Moment)
It plays during the ending when Maki becomes her true self.
