@camerl2009 yeah, sure, you could sand it off, maybe use a power sander, or a belt sander if you want to go at it faster, but if it's carbon steel, it's more likely to rust if you take off that finish
hmmm looks like a great machete.. except im not too sure about the slight back cut on the machete i find it a little strange to have something like that on a machete
@jeepzillajoe yeah i agree with that.. i hear that i agreed to sharpen a friends machete that he just bought and it has nooooo edge. completely square and im still working on it with my file its a complete pain
Great demo. Thanks. Machetes are great because if you know what to look for, you can get a great performer for, as show here, $11.95. Too bad you can't get an axe that nice for $25.

@calibanvideo it can be used for a number of things skinning,scraping and it makes a better weapon if its needed to be used in that way

yeah i thought so too. Its much easier to dull an edge with a file than have to make one though.
