He's 23 years old, and since he turned 18 he's been arrested 12 times in DeKalb. He breaks into cars, gets in fights, destroys property, carries guns, possesses stolen goods, runs from police, and fights with the police, among other wonderful habits. He's spent a few years in jail and gotten loads of probation. Already has one outstanding court case.
Online records show Degiorgio Jackson, Kenneth Jackson, Madre Jenkins and Carlos Morris are all still in jail; Adonica Cobb and Kiara Hill were bailed out. Hill, Jenkins and Morris are charged with two counts of theft by receiving each. Degiorgio Jackson is charged with two counts of theft by receiving and three counts of burglary.

Decatur Resident here to say that this is sickmaking. One good thing about being really close to all of your neighbors...someone's usually around. I have an alarm & they kicked my front door in, took 2 flat screens, 2 iPods & a laptop. The tvs were mounted on the wall with one locked to the mount. For the tv that was locked, they stripped the backets off the back of the tv. The police called and sayed they identified one of my TV's. When is the next hearing?

"Hello, I have seen the video and we apprehended these suspects breaking up a major burglary ring that was operating in Dekalb, Atlanta and city of Decatur. We recovered a lot of merchandise and made nine felony arrest. We hope that this will decrease our burglaries. GOOD NEWS UPDATE: the police got an anonymous tip and busted a house in Dekalb county Tuesday and arrested 6 people, one of which they think was from my house. The also recovered stolen property and got our laptop and camera back! Still no word on the tv. They think it was already sold by the time of the raid. But the police are working on it and following leads YOU have put on these comments so THANK YOU and KEEP THEM COMING. Many kudos to detective Nathan Garber of Dekalb county police.
I moved to Peachtree city to feel safer but now things are getting worse, thugs are coming from the city (ATL) to commit crimes here. I fear it will get worse with the economy.

It's time to address the shipping of low income peoples with limited transportation AWAY from their jobs and support systems further into the boondocks where there are no jobs for people with their skill set. Why does Georgia do this? Locking them up won't help. More babies will come facing the same situation. we had a break in at our home too...we were home.. they kept my parents at gun point inside the house asking for money..they went around the house looking for stuff ...it was soo horrible..then after few days we had a break in at our neighours then one more...its like its serial robberies going on in our neighbourhood....
Reinforces my idea to put in cameras after I had a VERY similar break in on Oct 8 in East Point. There have been a couple similar break ins very close to our home in the Conley Hills neighborhood. They were in and out of our house in minutes before the cops could get there. They made off with our TV and a few items as well.
Hope they catch these guys. If they come back to my house, I'll be prepared.
95 Bill Lucas Dr SE was robbed in August 2008. Wires of the house were cut and window broken. ADT system ripped off the wall. Neighbors said they drove a white unmarked truck (penske truck). The same people robbed the house across the street the week after.
I think these might be the same guys. Look at the top left, bottom left (George Kerry Redding AKA Keion?), and the second one in form the bottom left (Ashton Mitchell). They were locked up last October. The guy with the partial deeds looks like George Kerry Redding. Who was charged with a club 112 murder on June 10th, 2007. See for your self. Google "Atlanta Crime Spree Blamed On Katrina". This has already been reported to the Atlanta zone 6 police department as of 5:40pm.

I can't figure out why anybody would want to live in the city proper. You pay taxes out the ass, houses cost 3 times what they cost here in Cobb, crime is rampant, the schools suck, city hall is corrupt and the cops are nowhere to be found when you dial 911 there. I used to work there for the phone company and it took me 10 years to get transferred out of there to the suburbs but I am glad I did!

Mr. Kenneth Eric Jackson, no stranger to the DeKalb County Jail, was charged with one count of burglary and two counts of theft by receiving. He's 23 years old, and since he turned 18 he's been arrested 12 times in DeKalb. He breaks into cars, gets in fights, destroys property, carries guns, possesses stolen goods, runs from police, and fights with the police, among other wonderful habits. He's spent a few years in jail and gotten loads of probation. Already has one outstanding court case.

Decatur Resident here to say that this is sickmaking. One good thing about being really close to all of your neighbors...someone's usually around. We haven't had any break ins where I live in years, but at work some poor mother of a handicapped kid pulled into the spot by the door and we caught two losers on videotape following her in and breaking her window to steal her diaper bag. Middle of the day. Busy parking lot. These dregs of humanity just aren't scared anymore. They just don't care.

A guy and his dog (Pit) were killed not more than two weeks ago during a home invasion. I wont argue with you if its your prerogative to rely on a dog for your protection when someone's breaking in but for most people, myself included, I'll take the 12 GA.

A homeowner who isn't home isn't in much of a position to do anything about uninvited guests in his home. Armed or not. Yet, gun safes are for storing guns in when away from the home. It's not rocket science to safeguard firearms while away from home.
At least ten of my neighbors in the last two months have had their dogs either confined in the house or let outdoors during home robberies.

I have an alarm & they kicked my front door in, took 2 flat screens, 2 iPods & a laptop. The tvs were mounted on the wall with one locked to the mount. For the tv that was locked, they stripped the backets off the back of the tv. The police called and sayed they identified one of my TV's. When is the next hearing?

My particular setup records to its own DVR and has features such as motion-detection, night-vision, and monitoring via the web. "Hello, I have seen the video and we apprehended these suspects breaking up a major burglary ring that was operating in Dekalb, Atlanta and city of Decatur. We recovered a lot of merchandise and made nine felony arrest. We hope that this will decrease our burglaries. Please advise anyone that had a flat screen T.V. or a laptop computer taken get the serial numbers if you can, as we attempt to return the items we recovered to the owner.

GOOD NEWS UPDATE: the police got an anonymous tip and busted a house in Dekalb county Tuesday and arrested 6 people, one of which they think was from my house. The also recovered stolen property and got our laptop and camera back! Still no word on the tv. They think it was already sold by the time of the raid. But the police are working on it and following leads YOU have put on these comments so THANK YOU and KEEP THEM COMING. Many kudos to detective Nathan Garber of Dekalb county police.

It's time to address the shipping of low income peoples with limited transportation AWAY from their jobs and support systems further into the boondocks where there are no jobs for people with their skill set. Why does Georgia do this? Locking them up won't help. More babies will come facing the same situation. I hope these folk get their shit back and I hope these fellas that robbed them find more society-friendly, legal ways to make a living. Like defrauding mortgage loans or selling people home equity lines of credit based on inflated home values.

This is the problem with our society. Someone posts a video of their home getting broken into-while they are at work-you then take it as an opportunity to reiterate what you have heard on CNN. Your thought process disgusts and angers me to no end. How dare you try and make some sort of political statement in response to a burglary. I live in the next neighborhood over, and my home was broken into last night. Guess what I do for a living, I'm in real estate banking.

I don't remember these animals asking if they could have my TV. Seeing those vermin in orange jump suits at the bond hearing was the best pick-me-up I had this week.

I hope these guys are caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I don't care how bad the economy is, there is always an honest way to make money. People are out here working several jobs to make ends meet and these thugs choose the easy route of taking what others have worked hard to attain. Put them away!

wow...pretty sad that the majority of the posted coments refer to politics. How about neither candidate would give a s%#@ and instead....Atlanta Police need to get a clue and start doing their jobs. We were broken into a year ago and the thugs stole my gun. Guess what, the APD didn't even bother to file a report or count it as an actual break in because they didn't want to affect their stats. THEY STOLE OUR GUN AND THEY DIDN"T CARE. Bet they have done nothing on this breakin either!

Wouldn't it have been nice to have been sitting inside with a rifle. It really would. The tax payer loses either way in today's world though. These thugs are draining the system when they are on the outside. When they are in prison, they are still a drain on the system. And yes, if they were free to vote, they would vote for Obama. No one doubts that. Let's ask Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton why this break-in is really white America's fault...not the thugs fault.

My home was broken into this year(by 2 white young men). Needlesstosay im still pissed.I will protect myself, Im a white single women that has voted for Obama! I dont think you have to be a certain color to vote for who you think will lead this country to a much better path! Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton cant even be used in the same sentence when you are talking about Barak Obama. Yes they all have color but thats it!! to be honest with you we all need a little color. Pray that if Obama is "put" in office that nothing of that sort would be accepted. Guys, I was shot in my face by a white man that broke into my house 4 years ago. we had a break in at our home too...we were home.. they kept my parents at gun point inside the house asking for money..they went around the house looking for stuff ...it was soo horrible..then after few days we had a break in at our neighours then one more...its like its serial robberies going on in our neighbourhood....

Reinforces my idea to put in cameras after I had a VERY similar break in on Oct 8 in East Point. There have been a couple similar break ins very close to our home in the Conley Hills neighborhood. They were in and out of our house in minutes before the cops could get there. They made off with our TV and a few items as well.
Hope they catch these guys. If they come back to my house, I'll be prepared.

95 Bill Lucas Dr SE was robbed in August 2008. Wires of the house were cut and window broken. ADT system ripped off the wall. Neighbors said they drove a white unmarked truck (penske truck). The same people robbed the house across the street the week after.

I think these might be the same guys. Look at the top left, bottom left (George Kerry Redding AKA Keion?), and the second one in form the bottom left (Ashton Mitchell). They were locked up last October. The guy with the partial deeds looks like George Kerry Redding. Who was charged with a club 112 murder on June 10th, 2007. See for your self. Google "Atlanta Crime Spree Blamed On Katrina". This has already been reported to the Atlanta zone 6 police department as of 5:40pm.
