Bottom line, specifically with Mr. T, is he has refused the offer. Say what you will about Vince, he can't force anyone to accept. He's asked Bruno. Bruno says no. Jake Roberts is still a druggie/drunk and would be unreliable up there. If he cleans up he'll be asked. Backlund hasn't "retired" yet so that's why he's turned it down. Vince puts the HOF over any petty issues he has with individuals. It's on the inductees to refuse or accept. Don't automatically blame the WWE for "slights".

There is always an excuse as to why so and so was not inducted but it all comes down to one thing. Vince puts in whom he WANTS to because it's HIS company. Period. Has NOTHING to do with honor. I don't think Mr. T deserved to be the #1 inductee just because of what he supposedly did at Wrestle Mania in Hulk Hogan's book. Mr. T almost destroyed Wrestle Mania according to Hulk Hogan. Read Hulk Hogan's book if you don't know the details. Now Mr. T does deserve to be in the WWE Hall of Fame just like Mike Tyson deserves to be.
