i think it was mostly a connection they felt like after the press conference lestat said "come out come out WHOEVER you are" and it cut to jesse saying " its the same Voice" in her dreams i think jesses search for him was after reading the journal she connected with him about being alone and " Only haveing your own company to keep you" thats what i think prompted her to fallow him to LA

I agree on what you said about Lestat but I think the correct word for Jesse's feelings is "obsessed". Even David in the film said she's obsessed. And even if she was enchanted, it doesn't make them a perfect fit-together. In fact it would make it even more not so as it already is, as if someone's enchanted it is not a genuine feeling of clear mind and heart but...well...enchantment.
