I wouldn't have a problem with Best Buy even selling electric cars...they don't need to go into the shop like a gas guzzler....about all that needs done to E-cars is to rotate the tires and change the windshield wipers, they rarely even need brake pads because they use regenerative braking instead of using bunches of throw away components (so no fan belts, oil for lubrication, spark plugs, brake pads, that need checked or replaced)...service needs are just way too easy sign me up!
new york city is a town whoes has one of the biggest commuting populations.manhattan island alone holds over 10 million people. and millions more rave to and from the city evry day counting the five bouroughs.
@:24 Obviously this guy has never heard of Project Better Place or Coloumb Technologies. A little bit of research goes a long way. Hard to take them seriously...
Yeah, and how 'bout that woman at 5:35 who squeezes between a parked car and a bus, only to race through an intersection blindly, without looking around the front of the bus first?
Gonna get splattered eventually... no doubt about it.
This leaves little doubt in my mind that people will be texting while riding these things soon! Yay! Darwin awards for everybody!

She's European, none of them wear helmets!
petertrain 2 years ago
UCLA and Best Buy aren't in Europe. Small low speed scooters don't require helmets.

It would be better if you showed riders (particularly in the street) wearing helmets.
