I have cleaned my Trex deck using the cleaners they recommend. The deck is visibly mold free for about 6-8 weeks. It's the worst product ever. I have used Expert Chemical Composite Cleaner, Corte Composite Cleaner, and Olympic Premium Deck Wash. In every instance I followed the directions to the letter. In all cases the mold comes back.
I wish I only had to wash my deck twice a year. Do not buy Trex. It's more to maintain this product than real wood. Plus it looks like garbage.
