It was obvious from the start not rocket science. But it was one of their most competitive seasons I think. She just had the total package, and I couldn't wait to see what she was going to sing next week.

I take back everything I hated before about Fantasia. She is incredibly talented and this performance was UNBELIEVABLE!!! She is and will be one of THE most talented African-American singers on American Idol. The only other black singer vocally to ever touch her has been Jennifer Hudson. Her emotion, vocal runs, stylistically blows my mind! I'll be buying her new album "Back To Me" this year (2010).

Fantasia Barrino and Ruben Studdard can both take any song, any genre, and make it something awesome to hear. I tuned in on this season, and the second season for Ruben just to hear each of them every week, eager and curious--I already knew it was gonna be good.
I was always mad that they only got like a minute or so too. But now they're posted, so I can enjoy them over and over. For some reason though, I don't like their albums quite as much as I did the show.

Season 3 was the last season I was fully invested in, thanks in large part to Fantasia. I knew she could 'get down with the get down' but wasn't sure how versatile she was until the second night in the finals when she slowed it down and sang "Always on My Mind." I knew, especially with the crop that season, that she was going to the end.

She was 3rd-season. and ASK MY BROTHER, I loved her the instant I saw her auditions, and had her picked to win the first live show when she sang "Let's Give 'em Somethin To Talk About...Yea yea, yea yea yeeeaa Ye-yeaaaa."
It was obvious from the start not rocket science. But it was one of their most competitive seasons I think. She just had the total package, and I couldn't wait to see what she was going to sing next week.
She made it work, but I hated that hair though.

I take back everything I hated before about Fantasia. She is incredibly talented and this performance was UNBELIEVABLE!!! She is and will be one of THE most talented African-American singers on American Idol. The only other black singer vocally to ever touch her has been Jennifer Hudson. Her emotion, vocal runs, stylistically blows my mind! I'll be buying her new album "Back To Me" this year (2010).

Fantasia Barrino and Ruben Studdard can both take any song, any genre, and make it something awesome to hear. I tuned in on this season, and the second season for Ruben just to hear each of them every week, eager and curious--I already knew it was gonna be good.
I was always mad that they only got like a minute or so too. But now they're posted, so I can enjoy them over and over. For some reason though, I don't like their albums quite as much as I did the show.

Season 3 was the last season I was fully invested in, thanks in large part to Fantasia. I knew she could 'get down with the get down' but wasn't sure how versatile she was until the second night in the finals when she slowed it down and sang "Always on My Mind." I knew, especially with the crop that season, that she was going to the end.
