Yes! it is indeed. We were friends for a while. When she did her first comeback concert in the 80's I supported her and played with her on 'Willie O'Winsbury'. She actually recorded for me...singing three-part harmony backing vocals on the track 'Like a Moth to a Flame' on my second album! This track is still available on special order!
She later moved up to the west coast of Scotland to live and we lost touch. She is a fine person.
What an experience. I have heard that a recording surfaced of her singing in 1991. I'd like to think that she still sings in the bath or when she's washing the dishes or something. Hopefully the urge to sing is different from the urge to record - which I think is what she had a problem with.
I came across this video of your because I was trawling performances of this song by Michael Hedges - who I also listen to a lot.
This bloke, me Dad knew from year's ago.I met him about 20 years ago. He's much balder now-then he was bald. He has his own style-quite a local hero. This is good-not Jimmy or Dylan. His own stuff is good too-but with all folk artists-ya never gonna be proper famous. Good for us locals. Love to Dick, Pat, Jonie and Sophie.xxxx
U from across the pond? If so, you have an amazing grasp of local music...not so much this one, this one is great and I love your take on it...but you played one called, Coming to Chattanooga...I think. Quite impressive...as is everything I have heard from you.
Great job!! Just as a funny side note, your black shirt blends so well that I just see a head and arms rockin out!! lol Kinda neat. Wonderful performance.
Not only was it good, I liked the affect given by the black on black videography. Stark, powerful! Please, break down your version in a video lesson, I would like to play that way.
that was a swell job indeed you did there, your playing is amazing and i also liked your vocals , i have to admit that you have tremendously good rock star style vocals!:D
lol sorry didnt mean to sound critical, I liked it. Just noticed that your body is completely invisible in that black shirt on black background, which is kinda freaky :p But yeah good cover. Such a great song.
thanks for keeping the spirit alive

Great job,
perhaps you should look into a CF Martin endorsement of some type? Send them some stuff, it could happen.

Anyone comparing a Martin to an epiphone, does a good enough job of insulting himself. lol
