  • top 5 songs of all time: sycamore trees, red, bottom, summer (prestoVivaldi), Flamenko Sketches

  • @fehuperthro all jimmy scott or what?? or is that king crimson, miles etc

  • OMG - Jimmy Scott! I saw him perform with Pink Martini - he's incredible

  • Through the darkness of future past, The magician longs to see Once chants out between two worlds: Fire, walk with me.

  • Sorry, but, this song is in Twin Peaks Season 2 and not in the movie Fire Walk with me...

  • @beltonproduction He's not saying it's from the film, but that he got it from the film's soundtrack: amazon[dot]com/Twin-Peaks-Fire-Walk-Soundtrack/dp/B000002MF9

  • @beltonproduction

    Sorry, but, sorry.

I don't know if it is Twin Peaks season 2 or not, it definitely IS in the movie Fire walk with me.

  • @Mateus83044 Hey!

I love Lynch and I see all his movies, "Sycamore Tree" is in the Last episode of Twin Peaks,

but, I buy the original soundtrack, and the music of Jimmy Scott is in the CD of Fire Walk with me. It's strange, I know.

  • @beltonproduction

Hey Beltonproduction, I am not even half the expert you seem to be.

I must admit that I was a bit quick, and, to some extent, wrong. Precisely, what I remember is having listened to this song out from the soundtrack of "Fire walk with me". I had bought it straight walking out from the cinema. It didn't cross my mind that this song could be not played in the movie. So I suppose this all makes sense now. Good for your expertise, good for my modesty !

    Cheers !

  • Bellissima.

    So beautiful...

  • Great! I Want this song!

  • I got idea man You take me for a walk Under the sycamore trees The dark trees that blow baby In the dark trees that blow And I'll see you And you'll see me And I'll see you in the branches that blow In the breeze, I'll see you in the trees Under the sycamore trees
  • Man...this song is waaay too nice. Ive always been a Davide Lynch film guy and having this song in the last episode fit ted VERY well along with the whole set (artistically) up and all.

  • am i the only one who thinks the curtains are sublty moving or it's just some kind of mental dizziness caused by staying for to long inside the red room?

  • @elleotribal they call it astigmatism...

  • It's lika a call from another world.

  • this song makes me cry...

  • great!

  • That is one sexy track! Love the TP as well.

  • beautiful

  • The LEGENDARY Little Jimmy Scott! Angelic voice he's got!

  • Amazing how i always liked this music and only now i understand the why

  • One of the best songs ever. Of that there is no doubt.

  • Best song ever

  • It's the skull kid singing about the tree at the end of Majora's Mask.

  • @WanderLink its about the trees surrounding the black lodge...

  • What's involved in doing a floor like that? I want it for my home.

  • So sinister

  • Dark Fortress made a Cover for this 1, and is beyond this, i love this 1 too because is classic

  • @AhoyJagan

Personally they murdered the track...not an ounce of subtlety.

This is the one and only.

  • @roachy333 Lol, if u dont like Metal just tell me, Dark Fortress cover its Beyond To This

  • @AhoyJagan

hey...I do like metal. Slayer were one of my favs, saw them late 80's....Reign In Blood is still my fav all time studio album...AC/DC (rock n roll metal) my fav live album of all time, If You Want Blood.

Sorry I just didn't like it...life goes on.

  • @AhoyJagan

Hey...they've obviously got taste though...to cover this. So respect where it is due. :-)

  • LOVE this song. So beautiful, haunting and melancholy.

  • this song was actually sung by the legendary jimmy scott..who make his revival after david lynch used this in the t.p. episode. any other questions can be asked to bruce phillips. one of the only curators of the rare t.p. stuff left behind. just so y'all know.

  • Ahh, thank you very much! Never heard the whole version, makes me very happy! Great tune and great vocals indeed!

  • My favourite song! And TV series too..

  • @Healtone It's actually sung by Jimmy Scott

  • Yes. I mis-referenced the names on the Twin Peaks album. Koko Taylor sang "Up In Flames". Thank you for the clarification (wolfpunchfilms).

  • @Healtone No problem, I'm sorry if I sounded like a show off, I've just been listening to this song feverishly haha and I've got Jimmy Scott on the brain

  • I was pretty irritated when they didn't make a season 3. i mean, come on! They just left us hanging when they made the last episode where Cooper was possessed by Bob. But it's ok. I made my own David Lynch ending in my mind. ;)

  • @FluffyFuzzyBunny I don't know if making David Lynch movies in your mind is great for your mental health. ;)

  • thank you so musch for uploading this!!

  • I love this version, but it's not the same as featured in the episode. That version seems completely unavailable sadly.

  • thank u for the whole song...i'm the biggest peaker i no, and for them to edit out that entrire performance was a little bit of a shock...david being who he is tho....:p;

  • One person seems to be trapped in the Black Lodge, where the only buttons they have to press are marked "dislike."

  • oh shit.....incredible

  • Perfect precursor to the most bizarre, sinister and important 10 minutes of TV ever broadcast.Even Cooper himself who embraces the unusual has a look as if to say WTF anything can happen here in the black lodge and im not in control.

  • Excellent upload! Beautiful song from a great, great series, that for me at least; was televisions finest hour! Unsurpassed, before or since! Twin peaks for me, is a very real place, and I love to revisit from time to time. Even the director, in his own words:- "fell in love with the place!".

  • @wookie72 Hello! You can find this song on the "Twin peaks fire walk with me soundtrack" ! :) thats where i got it :)

  • @Star28Gentian The whole soundtrack album is great, perhaps better than the film?????

  • @Star28Gentian Yeah, I've never understood that. I was very pleasantly surprised when I bought the FWWM soundtrack and found this on it.
