You have a great drum set but your toms are way to quiet: you could just play the bass drum and it would sound the same. I know they don't need to sound way out there but, IMO, your covers would sound much better if you either

a) miced the toms or

b) just tuned them down or hit them harder so they actually made a sound instead if just a dull thud
